Neatly, nipped in before the placing. Aaaarrrggh.
So, sat with funds to pile in at sub 50p, to balance up the scales!!

Broadly agree with that.
Except, i don't think us 'normal folk' (there's an oxymoron!!), have any influence at all.
Even collectively, we would hardly make a ripple in the share price.
That said, i don't think Stroll and co. would take kindly to all retail bods dumping the stock.

Noah. Thanks for your comments. Stroll and Woolf are tough nuts, and whilst they carry no prisoners, i do think it will benefit us in long run.
Not sure we did all have an opportunity to buy in at 50p. Most of the placing was placed prior to release. Hence the name placing!!!
As for shares ranking pari passu. They may rank that way, they sure can't be bought pari passu!!

I think Stroll will pull it off, he is well respected in business and F1, where he will have a lot of moral and financial support.
My markers are a growing GP%, and lowering of debt. Armed with that, a profit will come, but i would say be about 5 years before any seen.
So it'll need to be progress not perfection, in short term. Then he'll get the time he needs.

I wouldn't fancy being in new CFO's shoes though!!

CK. Been into AML with my modest funds when Merlin got taken back into private hands.
In at £4.80. Seemed a steal then, about 9 months ago.
Followed up with RI, which took me down to ave of £1.20.
Then stoked up when at £0.35, taking me down to ave of £0.55.
Then very skilfully, bought more at £0.64 last Weds as price was dropping. Took ave. to £0.62!!
We all know how we got shafted last Friday!
Now waiting to buy more at sub £0.50.
I'm in for the journey.
I do agree with WG though. Yes, i do feel a bit sore after the shafting on Friday. He's hurt loyal shareholders, to benefit the in crowd.

That is your cash, not someone else's that you've borrowed at alarming rates.
That is number 1, 2 and 3 priority, get the borrowing down.
Yes, some other positives exist, but SP will hold back until debt down.

Sadly, before further 20% drop on Friday.

Plus, it's foot on accelerator that is needed not handle on door catch.
It is madness to be borrowing at 12%, that is 120 times base rate.

But, Q2 will be horrendous. Not sure, that is fully factored in.
Stroll will sugar coat it, with covid, new men in, promising sales, etc.
But, the market will react to actuals.

Don't get me wrong, i see this growing long term, 3 to 5 years.
Has to get debt down.
Car sales have to be big, just to cover debt servicing.

Well Stroll has got his cash at the expense of us, and other 'not in the know' investors.
For me, no interest in this stock in the 50's.
Below, i'll be buying more.
Above, i'll actually be in profit.
Short term, i think we'll sit it out around 55p.
Need something new, again, to get it moving either way.

Next known news, Q2 results on 29th July. Beware, they will be very grim.
Hence Stroll getting placing out of the way, now!!
Will AML, have actually sold a car!!! in last quarter.
Orders are cloudy hopes. It's sales they need. That produces cash, which they are currently leaking, big time.

I bought on Weds at 64.5p whilst it was dropping, obviously just pre placing. So obviously p...d off.
That took my ave, up to 62p!!!!
Now waiting to buy back in at sub 50p.
All a question of perspective, and where we sit on the crazy AML roller coaster.
