However, in AML's case, the Welsh Development Board (i.e.us!!) have funded a considerable part of the factory, hence getting AML into St Athan's, and now looks as if battery manufacturer is following.
So, there will be strong restrictions as to what they can and can't do .
I don't think flogging it, would be on the table.

I still am a strong believer here, could have made more, but then couldn't we all.

My view of the debt is perhaps a little more concerning than yours.
Others on here are a little dismissive of the debt (IMO), but cash is king.

Yes, you made a loss.
However, as price rises you will recover it, and go on to make money here with AML.
Just not quite as much as you would have done.

The big salutary lesson here, is, never ever use a hand held device to attempt to undertake an act of some consequence.
Always use a more robust piece of equipment.
And, always fully concentrate, whilst on your own.
That way, you may well still get it wrong, but you'll know what you are doing.

And finally, beware on here. The trading platform is understandably secure, however this front facing tool IS NOT.
I've had malware on my pc, from this site, which is bloody annoying.
Any site, with adverts is unstable. It's easy to hack an advert.

I hope you are right. Dived into this share, without usual research, following big fall last week, after intangible write-off, since that doesn't affect cash.
Just seen a slow decline since.

As said, i'm waiting SP to be slightly lower before topping up.
Even though it hurt me financially, i understand the placing a fortnight ago, since covid was not factored into buy-out calculations.
Just troubled by the interest rate that AML are having to swallow, and that they've mentioned debt factoring. That's never a good sign.

He didn't call that one. It will hurt AML. Hence what may have been 2 year turn-round, is now probably 5.
Debt is rising fast. Very little income currently, money in is mainly borrowing!!!

However, disagree with your use of cash.
Aml's debt is an eye-scrunching £1.0b, now.
The placing was to keep the company going!!
Hence the ridiculous cost of borrowing at 12%, and the probability of debt factoring, which is bloody expensive. Like us borrowing on a credit card.
I'm still positive here, but this company is very finely balanced right now.
Risk is large.

Lots of positivity going forward for AML, and i'm in and waiting to build up my holding.
The bald facts of the current position and recent history, will hold this stock back for a while.
But, i do feel it's primed to improve. Just a question of when.
You seem positive on the stock, despite current issues.
Just one question.
Why are you not buying in now, ahead of Q2 figures on 29th July.
You run the risk of missing the first sailing of this boat.

Could easily have placed a further limit today, got home and found both executed!!
I did place y'day limit price at 16.25hrs. But, that's still y'day!!

Placed a buy limit on Saga y'day, to expire y'day, at £0.1575.
It didn't quite get there.
Went to place a further limit today, and found, much to my amazement, that the trade had been executed at 08.06 this morning.
Any-one shed any light?

I'm ready to increase my holding at sub 45p, and then in tranches down to 35p, depending to where it gets.
Price will just bob along until 29th July. Then see some volatility for a week. Then find it's ongoing level until the positivity here starts to take shape and become fact.

This has now become a real long term hold.
With that debt dragging along behind them, it will take some time to steady the ship and turn it around.

It will happen though. Just needs 3 things in place.

Generally agree, but not sure about 27p. I think it will struggle to get back to 20p.
This stock has been on downward path since IPO.
They were too greedy then.

My long hold has become longer.....over last few months.
The placing kicked us quite a bit. Even though i understand it, it still cost us.

That's net cash of £1B.
AML has net cash of negative £0.8B.
Quite a difference.

Plus, other than they both have 4 wheels, there is no comparison to be had between them.
