Then buy it back after it's been totally mis-managed.

Basically SAGA (a well named company!!), is overpriced with everything.
Overpriced IPO.
Overpriced RI.
Overpriced cruises.
Overpriced insurance.

And sadly, a still over-priced share price.

Not many went for the RI, due to over priced.
I picked my 'RI' from the open market, 10% cheaper.
Saga always over-do everything on price. The IPO, the RI, Their cruises, and insurance.
So, i'm afraid SP will continue to slide.
Saga salvation comes in the form of a vaccine. Who knows when that will be.

It continues to plummet, down 10% just today!
I'm one of the initial IPO holders (very small holding, thank god!!).
I by-passed the recent placing, on the basis i could buy cheaper on open market.
This company has continually over egged everything.
I bought more about 2 months ago, at 15p, with a view to make back losses on the IPO!!

Yeh, i know, you are all now laughing at me!!
I've only lost 35% of my further investment.
So, that's much better than the 95% loss on the IPO shares!!

As has been said, we should have picked up the clue, in the name of the company.

Well, the RI is going to be accepted, easily.
Why do you think the SP is going north.
People are all over this to get 10/3 shares at 32p.
So, we should be focusing on what will happen to SP post settling down period after RI.

I invested in the IPO, 33 years ago at £1.70!!
Never thought, i'd have the opportunity to buy more at below that price.
Amazing!!
Should be able to purchase next week, i expect.
It will come good, but those heady days of £12, will never be seen again.

MM's have forced price down to roughly issue price.
Thus avoids any-one selling existing shares to buy the new ones.
What will happen to share price afterwards??? Who knows.

Plus, they've decided to throw a share consolidation in the mix, to add more smoke and mirrors!!

Not seen there paperwork.
BUT, i doubt that date.
More likely to be 25th Sept.
That allows brokers to conclude their paperwork, etc.
The vote and very likely approval is 2nd Oct.

Yep, the whole thing has been over complicated.
The consolidation will complete the smoke and mirrors.
But, they have to try to justify £10M. Ridiculous cost, that we are paying!!!

I split my intended further investment into AML, between EUR & GGP.
So glad i did.
Far more excitement and profit to be had there.
AML have broken down at 60p!!

I was advised to expect the detail today, to include brokers time-frame and what and by when we need to do.
Seems quite an involved process, but some-one has to do something to justify their bill for £10M!!
Seems, very expensive.
Time will tell.

The answer is, it all depends!!
If, your 50,000 share purchase is subsequently sold at a profit, then your average of 0.179 will decrease.
If sold at a loss, average will increase.
At, end of the day, all depends what does (and you think will) happen to the share price.

Leaving aside my modest IPO holding.
Running with the offer, would give me an average of 14.6p.
Pretty well, current price.
So i'd be gambling that MM's are currently walking this down.
Are they, aren't they!!!! Probably need a coin to toss to decide!!

This offer is a long way from being attractive.
Then we have the consolidation, to further cloud the issue.

I kicked off at £4.80.
Following 4 further top ups, got average of 58p.
Looking for 75p, to reduce my exposure here.

Amazing all the differing start points, have got us all to a similar average, +/- 10%.

If one were a fund holder, you wouldn't be too happy, if your fund manager were paying more than needed for the sake of a week or so.
I guess fund manager's take the 'public sector' view, 'it's not my money, so i'm not worried'!!
Detrimentally affects their performance though.

Saga certainly owes me.
They have an ever growing market, but as yet haven't seriously tapped into it.
They certainly need to spruce up their offerings to the younger end of their market.
