I had the same situation as you.
Get as many assets as you can out of your name, and into the kids, other family members or very trustworthy friends.
I didn't and got heavily stung.
the law still heavily favours the female in divorce matters.
If all else fails, just spend it. When it's gone, she can't get it. It may not be her, but if she engages a solicitor it will all go pear shaped for you.

I've been around a while, as they say, just not posted lately.
I'm one of those souls deep under water with the original IPO back in 2014..ish.
Only a small number in IPO and recovered losses off back of opportunities here in last 9 months.
I did the IPO due to the growing age profile in this country. Sadly, Saga missed the boat (pun intended), and struggled until Uncle Roger re-appeared.
I've still yet to see the company really grasp the nettle, as opposed to relying on products that may have merit, but are over-priced.
For the record my car insurance is less than half the quote from Saga. A more basic policy, but most don't need the add ons.

I do hope that they can turn this round and sail into clear blue waters, but they are under Uncle Roger's control.
I had Saga as a client some 25 years ago, and they were very hard work even back then.

A 3 year fix is based on no material alterations to risk.
Both of those changes are material.
Policy holders are entitled to share the benefit.
I accept Saga won't automatically pass it on, and many policy holders won't challenge.
However, it's precisely that type of sharp practice that got Saga into difficulties in the past.
