I've not posted much of late, since been developing a hot line to Stock exchange to be able to mirror Rox's share dealings!!
He buys, i sell.
He sells, i buy!!
Tell you what Rox, just sell direct to me, or i'll sell direct to you. Save all the faff of middle-man and costs etc!!

But, seriously...
Saga is well named, and will continue to oscillate around. But, i remain bullish, and think it will increase in value through 2021.
I've spread my dosh, far and wide now, and struggle to just read all the share chat!

Yes, i believe that it is.
The market corrects itself as soon as the share goes ex-rights.
Hence the market in the main and rights share currently.
TUi's price was much higher a few years ago.
Whilst dilution has occurred with the RI. The company has secured it's short/medium term future, has complete backing of the German gov't, has a public aching to buy it's products and go on holiday. Plus, most importantly, the market approves of it's actions.
Bit more blue to come, i feel.

Broadly it does. I'm not saying it's a perfect market.
The 'late' trades from 4.30 are almost always trades earlier in the day. MM's do not need to report them instantly, since they may be a large buy or sell, which may disturb an orderly market.
Then, they have a pre opening auction to reflect any 'news'.
Plenty of other aspects which us PI's aren't privy to.
But, then we all come across 'inside information' in whatever our line of work is.
I think the market is fairly well regulated, aside of shorting. But, nothing is perfect.
Make sure you enjoy your trading though, and hopefully make a bit along the way.

I understand your logical question.
Agree with Smithy, too.
Another slant is:
How does your local fruit and veg trader on the street market, decide how much to charge for the sprouts he's selling?
A number of factors, supply, demand, cost, the weather, his experiences, time of the year, to name a few.
Not forgetting, what he can get away with.
This year compare the price of sprouts on December 20th, to that on January 10th 2022. Be a big difference.
Same principles apply to shares. It's a market just the same as the sprouts. No co-incidence they both use the same expressions, market, trader, etc.

And the moral of the story is....
Watch Rox's movements very carefully, and do the opposite!!

So let me get this right.
You pay Saga money, for them to accept the risk of you driving your car.
You no longer need/use car, and kindly phone them to advise them they are now off risk.
They charge you £50 for the privilege, of them having no risk!!!!

My view is company is poised, but the market is not quite ready to accelerate it, yet.
I'm putting money elsewhere, and will return in 6 months.

It's a tad concerning the lack of basic knowledge shown here by some SH's.
They own shares, but haven't a scoobie how the market works.
Nor, capable of reading RNS's to find out roll out dates for an RI.

12th is the date stated in the RI.

Don't concern yourself.
They will write.
RI Shares are only available tmw.
You'll hear by the end of the week, at the latest.

I'm similar, Golfer.
Originally in at 44p, then large amount more at 18.5p.
Since then day traded a little, and lowered average.

Not sure i quite agree with your relative time-frames though.
I think RMS will move upwards quicker than EUA, over next couple of weeks.
Time will tell.

Blue-boy is quite correct, and has offered good advice.
Just one small point, if you don't mind me butting in. Since, i wasn't quite sure if you realised.
By selling (say tmw) to invest back in an ISA.
Upon selling you crystallise a taxable event. Any profit you have made to that point is taxable.
By popping back into an ISA, that is a separate transaction, and it is only profits from that point (inside the ISA) that is tax free.
The point i'm trying to make is that you don't nor can't carry profit to date into the ISA.

Any profit you have made, may be covered by the £12K tax free allowance.

I hope this is clear, if it wasn't already.

Totally agree. Talk about all your eggs in one basket.
What will they do if machine is unreliable?
It's basic business sense to have a fallback plan.
A 2nd machine would provide much needed insurance.

I hold in EUA, and have recently popped some dosh into RMS, on the basis of their future, not withstanding recent/current issues.

How difficult can it be.
Agree a deal with an overage provision in. Simple.

The RI is still being rolled out.
Friday 8th, was merely ex rights date.
Monday 11th, is record date.
Tues 12th, rights are credited to accounts (allegedly some brokers have already applied to accounts!!!).
SH's then have c. 2 weeks to pay for the rights (c97p).
Shares tradeable from c 29th.
Your broker may let you trade the rights from Tuesday, but some may not.

IMO, price will drop to c£3. However, some say price already reflects the rights.
Time will tell.
