We've had enough, of no interest, notifications to turn into a roll of wallpaper in the last 6 months.

Nothing, about when we will actually receive the undervalued take-over money.

Sadly, no other firm was interested in buying HL.

Does any-one know when this long drawn out torture, will actually end, and a date for when we will get the money for our loss making shares?

Just look at the share price with AJB over the last 2 weeks.

Large increase up to release of results, stonking results.

Since y'day at about 09.00, a retrace of the increase!!

I was lucky, managed to sell 20% of my holding near the top, at £5.15.

The only elephant in the room, is the dreaded share buy-back that AJB have commenced!! It never seems to benefit SH's, but does benefit management, and their performance bonuses!!

Still, this is a good, well run little company, that is a solid long term investment.

Slight discount to 1110p, to those that want their cash early.

It will slowly crawl up to 1110p over next few months.

Sadly, no other firm seem interested in stumping up more dosh to buy them, so we are saddled with this poor deal.

The damage was done to HL over the last 5 or 6 years. They 've never recovered from the Woodford fiasco.

The rise in last 2 days suggests Thursday's figures will be good for AJB.

So, bought 2,200 at noon.

Sold at 08.30 onTuesday, with an 18% profit.

Lovely, jubbly.

Goes a bit of the way towards my losses elsewhere!!

Well, SAGA has managed it. And it appears NOT to have stopped.

This share just goes down.

The RNS shows a good letter to the chair of HL.

Hopefully others will follow suit, and exert pressure to ensure we receive a reasonable offer.

Whilst HL have had their issues in last 5 years, hence dramatic fall in share price. This is a poor offer.

No doubt the big Sh's have been consulted and agreed. Hargreaves did sell a large part of company a few years ago, and now seems content to disappear off. He has obviously done very nicely since inception, so probably little interest now, in arguing for a better offer.

Our only hope to get a reasonable price for our shares is a bidding war. With so many low price operators out there, i'm far from convinced any-one else would consider a bid. Hence this acceptance of a paltry £11.40 before it is even made.

Also seems to have little regard for many shareholders by telling the world the price you would accept.

Try reading the RNS properly!

The 25% tax can be reduced to 15% as a result of double taxation relief. Ask your broker for relevant form, and the reduced amount is deducted as source.

Best to wait until everything has settled following the listing on Frankfurt.

Went all in with the RI in 2020, and have an average of 93.8p.

Just top sliced 20% of holding at £4.26, to help daughter on property ladder, in a ridiculously expensive town.

That includes a tax loss free.

You can't have your cake and eat it!!

You gain the advantage with tax free profit, and suffer the dis-advantage with tax free loss.
