The previous RNS stated the signed a contract for up to 2,500m of drilling so the depth might be a reflection of that. It will be interesting to see what they put out from the pXRF data. I wasn't expecting them to drill C1 target so quickly as well, they were planning to do some geophysics over that area. The drilling they did was about 300m from the historical hole RKN800 where low grade copper was found from about 130m to the end of the hole, also close to the drill locations that BHP had planned before they decided to pull out of the country.

The evidence is saying the opposite. For both Interactive Investor and Hargreaves Lansdown, the holdings have been steadily increasing up to the last update by Jubilee on 16th September.

Jupiter were holding 92m shares last year. That investor list yesterday showed them down to 40m shares, having sold nearly 28m since the last update. What we don't know is the date of that investor list. My guess (and it's only a guess) is that it's from September so with the heavy selling in the last few weeks they could now be out. I guess we will only know if they issue a TR-1.

It’s not speculation Froglet, read the article about Jupiter selling half a billion in funds from back in April when the SP decline started. Then look at the shareholder list that was posted yesterday which showed Jupiter had sold 27 million shares since the previous update. Some of us can put the pieces together.

I posted an article the other day that suggested Jupiter would be selling a large chunk of their portfolio because their star asset manager was leaving to set up his own company. Ridiculous that one person leaving a company can have such an impact but to make it clear it has nothing to do with Jubilee or their performance. I’m pretty sure Jupiter are now out or close to it so the downward pressure on the share price should soon disappear I believe.

Yes they are definitely using a different one. It wouldn't make much sense to sign aa new power agreement for the same one. They are also building a solar plant to cover the dry season. I guess Jubilee may be involved in financing that to get it up and running, which may be why they got a cheap deal on power.

I haven't seen it but I presume you're talking about the Kariba Dam which is the main source of hydro power for the country. They've been rationing power for months because that's running low on water. That's the reason they did a deal for hydro and solar power with Lunsemfwa Hydro, they don't use Kariba.

It's difficult to say exactly when that list was updated but certainly after the 25th July Jubilee update and probably some time around the 6th September onwards. Most of the major holdings match with that 6th September update so that would be my guess. I think they are now either out or very close to being out. I added some more myself just before closing.

The price remains unchanged this week at US$270-280 / tonne.

PGM basket seems to be in a small but definite uptrend over the last few months.

If only they could parachute half a tonne of material straight into the ALS lab in Joburg and say can you knock that lot out this week lads. Sadly in the real world we are unlikely to be first in the queue for material to be assayed. I know Charles Archer was reporting longer waiting times for assays across the board at the moment due to increased exploration.
