I suspect the problem is in unexpected / unplanned grid shutdowns when they don't have time to switch to a backup generator. If there's prior warning, like they were trying to arrange with the authorities then you can switch over ahead of time. The ships I used to work on generally had a UPS system in case of blackout in main power, a battery backup that would keep essential systems running for a period, I don't know how feasible something like that is in order to at least do a controlled shutdown.

ART I've had a career in exploration for nearly 30 years, any exploration project is a risk, most will not pay off. It doesn't mean you can write off all future projects because the previous ones failed! It doesn't work that way.

Total rubbish. They have not done any drilling previously at Brunton Pass. They have done soil sampling, trenching and an IP geophysical survey which have identified the targets for this years drilling.

Are you still knocking about Jedster? Why is it that ART only focused on what he wanted to and ignored the rest? No mention of Brunton Pass where drill results are expected in the New Year. No mention of the drilling that was completed at Mukai and the assaying which is being done.... it paints its own picture.

You fail to mention that:

Mukai: 3 holes drilled before the rains stopped play, samples being sent for geochemical analysis.

Konkola West: drilling will continue after a Christmas break, still haven't intercepted target. No indication of the depth to date so could be slow going with the drill or target much deeper. Either way they intend to keep drilling as much as required.

Mushima North: Samples sent for analysis to confirm in field results and check for precious metals content.

Brunton Pass: Drilling program completed and samples sent for geochemical analysis with results expected early in the New Year.

Also, looking at the volume traded, there was significantly more trade in September / October, above the placing price, than there has been since then, so they may still come out in profit despite the current low price.

Auc1, they generally sell right away, holding isn't usually part of their MO, that's why there has been constant selling pressure on the share since the placing was announced. They were selling above the placing price up until the end of October when the results from Mushima North were announced and the price dropped below the placing price. Now I guess they just want to sell up for whatever they can get as quickly as possible. Just my opinion of course.

Not exactly a brilliant career trajectory either. Why anyone would put any faith in his opinions is beyond me but some do.

I guess all options are still on the table Northern, Leon said in that interview and elsewhere that they would need to make a decision at the end of the due diligence. I guess it's in their interests to let IRH know that they aren't the only horse in the race anymore if they wan't to be in a stronger negotiating position.

When chrome prices were still flying I would have said it might be better to go it alone on the Waste Rock Project, when they could invest profits from chrome into the copper modules, but with chrome coming off the boil, I think I'd rather see someone else putting the cash up.

Another thing Leon mentioned with regard to the Waste Rock Project "we speak of IRH but we have many investors lining up on this project" so I don't think it's a given that IRH will be the final partner or if they are it might have to be on more favourable terms for Jubilee.

It's not a traditional heap leach they are trialling, it's a rapid leach process which they have discussed in the past as coming out of the development group. Leon said they are using minimal acid in the process, if that means they are also using glycine wasn't clear but I think Ricus mentioned that in the Roast interview a few months back.

Worth listening to the whole interview I think, to be reminded of what is going on.

Unlike you Pandy, I'm not giving an opinion about if people should buy or not and I'm not posting "for balance". I'm merely stating facts. The fact is, as I have said already, that a minimum of 2.2 billion shares need to be traded in order to clear the placing. All the rest is speculation.

There are 3 drilling programs either underway or complete, with results expected early in the new year. If you think as I do that there is potential for at least one of them to be successful then you might want to buy in as the price would quickly be multiples of where it is right now. If you don't then obviously you move on and look elsewhere. I certainly won't be hanging around like you are trying to convince people not to buy!

Does nobody listen anymore? There was a placing of 1.1 billion shares in August. As a minimum to sell that into the market and for others to buy it that's 2.2 billion shares to be traded.

I make it now roughly 2.2 billion shares bought and sold since the placing of 1.1 billion shares, so hopefully we are getting close to the end of it. If the board were serious about getting the SP moving they would be buying up the rest of the overhang now....

They didn't advise a lower guidance for the quarter, the RNS said that due to uncertainty over the power situation there was also uncertainty on achieving guidance... not quite the same thing. Then again sometimes people seem to read into things whatever they want.
