Jonah, according to the last presentation the 20 kt module has the capacity to produce 2,000 tonnes of copper / annum (with an input grade of 1.5% I believe). The 50 kt module has the capacity to produce 5,000 tonnes of copper / annum. The original Roan plant will now be essentially a copper sulphide concentrate processor with capacity to produce (13,000 - 5,000 =) 8,000 tonnes / annum of copper with additional feedstock.

Arc has been a traders dream for the last 5 years, the share price has operated in a range between 2-4p most of the time, with occasional spikes above that. It’s hardly surprising they have been all over it. As soon as we break out of that narrow range most of the traders posting negatively here will melt away in search of another target.

It’s a waste of energy interacting with a troll, he’s absolutely loving it getting a rise out of you. In the end the share price will be decided on company performance and not the nonsense constantly spouted by BT. Just keep reporting him and that will keep him on a short leash.

It’s laughable how determined to be negative these people are in the face of what is OBVIOUSLY the best deal done by a junior explorer in what is OBVIOUSLY the most prospective part of the Copperbelt still to be fully explored. Thankfully I filtered the lot of them many months ago so I don’t have to read a word of it

There’s a reason why Anglo committed to a multi-year exploration program. The licenses are vast and the targets for investigation are many. I have absolutely no doubt that they will intersect more sulphides at Cheyeza East but will they hit the main orebody in the first few drills…. Unlikely. Possible but unlikely. That one anomaly at Cheyeza is 6km long. First they need to map it at large scale then home in on the area for more detailed investigation. Of course even a single drill with a decent thickness of mineralisation will likely send the SP far higher than it is now… Do you want to risk missing out?

Before that we are likely to get the Botswana assay results through, which will hopefully show the same degree of mineralisation that has already been found at the nearby Zone 9 (which is part of the same geological feature).

As for a downside… what is it exactly? We already know about the high grade oxides at Cheyeza East which could be mined, there will undoubtedly be other deposits revealed in the course of the exploration, even if not tier one level, they will be worth something to a lower scale miner. Read the WH Ireland note where they set out how Arc have derisked this asset. If there’s a better opportunity in the Junior exploration sector I certainly haven’t heard about it! That’s exactly why this board has been plagued with muppets for the last couple of years… they know the score, even if they say otherwise.

Yes it’s probably worth copying any posts which take time to write and saving them elsewhere, you can always repost if it gets taken down with the rubbish.

I’d be very wary of putting too much faith in other ‘energy metals’ at the moment as the pace of development in battery tech / green hydrogen is rapid, for example the latest developments in sodium-ion technology which might reduce demand for lithium. One thing is for sure though, copper will always be a great conductor of electricity and with shrinking supply and increasing demand, it’s got to be a winner in the long run.

I wouldn’t be concerned about BT, he shows the same trolling behaviour on Twitter, he’s just looking to wind people up. It’s a sign of a deep problem within himself. Maybe he should consider getting a therapist and deal with his underlying issues.

Just going off what Vassilios said in the last Investor Call. I’d be surprised if they are looking that deep as the Roan geology is typically around 500m but anything is possible I guess.

Just a little reminder or for new investors, putting the pieces together for you...

The first hole that Arc drilled during the last drilling campaign, about 500m NW of the high grade oxide anomaly, intercepted "massive disseminated sulphides" at a down hole depth of 275m, with grades from 0.6 to >1.0 %, in line with other nearby deposits like Sentinel. The target that Anglo are going after is (according to Vasilli) at around 300m.

To me it looks like they think that Arc's discovery is towards the Northern end of the main anomaly, where it might be thinning out....

My guess is there’s a big buy order in and they are taking down the price to try and get some panic selling happening, along with a bit of targeted deramping of course. Sometimes I think these boards are purely for the benefit of the big guys looking to manipulate the little guys.

That's Roan on the left and the tailings ponds from the copper mine on the right. It looks like there is still active open pit mining going on very close by, I don't know but this might the source of the ROM material for Roan.

Glad i managed to give you something to chuckle about at least, and yes I share the same sentiment!

Personally I’m prepared to cut Leon some slack in Zambia, a new country, a new commodity and all the issues that come with those things. It’s important to remember they are doing something new and that will always bring challenges, I just wish they would be more up front about them rather than glossing over them, and yes a more straightforward approach to RNSs would help too!

That would be nice Northern although I'm not expecting any announcements. I suspect this is more about trying to improve comms. You never know though!

I've had a look at the latest images and can see that there have been substantial changes to the site in the last month but the resolution of the images isn't high enough to see exactly what's happening.
