Yes HG I noticed that too. I'm pretty sure when I last checked the top 3 licenses were "Pending Transfer" (That's Mukai, Mushima North and Jacks Project, the three involved in the transfer to the new company). I think they must all have been changed at the same time. It's exactly 6 months before the licenses need to be renewed so maybe that's the reason. Might need to check with the company on that one.

At the risk of stating the obvious it looks like all this means that they are definitely progressing to a JV on the Konkola West license, so it's not just the two drills that are already planned, it looks like they will potentially drill up to a further US$6 million worth of holes, or twice the current market cap!

I noticed the status of the Konkola West license in the Cadastre has changed to pending today, looks like it's been updated as a result of JV being approved.

For any new investors or anyone wondering what all the fuss is about with the Arc licenses, here's some notes I put together a while ago which might give you some indication. At least there are some links in there that you might find useful, especially the video presentation by Anglo geologist David Wood. You should at least try and watch that and understand how the copper-scandium process that was used to map the Sentinel deposit has also been applied to Arc's licenses in Zambia

I don’t think Peggy has ever said anything that might be misconstrued as positive about Arc in the last 4 years! Amazing to think that someone with such a low opinion of the company and its prospects would waste so much time here 😂

Either way I don't think it will have any significant impact on us. I saw a report that suggested that even if the BHP offer was accepted, it would take 12-18 months to complete all the demergers etc and for the deal to complete. We should be significantly further on by that stage!

I was looking at the trades yesterday and to me it looked like a large buyer and a large seller so maybe the II's adjusting holdings after the rise. You can usually spot when large trades are being broken down into smaller ones because the size of the trade gets progressively smaller as it reaches the limit price.

One of the downsides of attracting lots of II's they are obliged to keep holdings within a set percentage of the portfolio so any significant rise will likely trigger a sell off.

Nice find MSA. That's the JV agreement with KoBold subsidiary Mwinilunga Exploration for the Konkola West license. I guess we should be seeing an RNS for that pretty soon.

The signing off of the mining licenses have absolutely nothing to do with exploration. Exploration has been going on for years already. All the mining licenses do is secure ownership for the next 25 years and give plenty of time to fully explore the many identified targets. Maybe it also shows intent from Anglo to progress to mining... depends how you read it.

News, you're wrong, there are BOTs posting on this site. I've seen examples where they went wrong and posted a string of code which users were not supposed to see. People on every board you post on are telling you the same thing... maybe YOU are the problem not everyone else.

Edit: I just checked a topographic map and the average height above sea level for that area is closer to 1300m

I suspect you're not alone Lekka 😂 It seems to me if you want people to grasp what you're talking about you would make the effort to make it clear and concise. Otherwise whats the point! I think there's an element of automation at work in those posts judging by the sheer number he throws out... that's not normal behaviour for most investors.

If they were to continue at the same drilling rate and drilled until mid-June, they would be down to 1,700-1,800m. I guess they would want to drill past the ore shales to build up a better geological picture for their AI models.

I said I was tempted… I didn’t say I’d done it! So far I haven’t sold anything since I started buying but the temptation is always there… and the more in profit you are the greater the temptation to cash in! I must admit my timeline for getting out of investing has come forward recently. There’s more to life than researching companies. Hopefully I’ll be in a position in the next 12 months to cash in a good chunk and let the rest do what it may, without me having to watch the share price every day! That applies to all of my holdings though, not just this one.

If people want to trade the swings and hope they don’t miss out on news… that’s fine. We all have our own methods and goals. Mine is to buy cheap and hold long. So far it’s working for me and if the copper strategy plays out then I will be doing extremely well.

We will have accumulated a lot of traders at the bottom so progress is probably going to be slow as they take profits. On the other hand we can expect news on the Botswana IP survey relatively soon. If that is positive it might give us a little boost before drilling starts. Looking at our next door neighbours results, the target should be relatively shallow so not too long to wait once drilling gets going.

That's what it looks like to me as well, looks like an institution has put a large buy order in at 8.7 and they dropped the price to fill it.
