Interesting stuff ageos cheers. I have noted on this bb a lack of comprehension on categories . Could you give a good breakdown of the differences between inferred , indicated , measured and proven reserves and more importantly the steps needed to Progress through these stages to give an idea on timescales and the level of investment needed.
Some here seem to think that a maiden jorc will give a re rate of gold in the ground values of reserves which is extremely misleading. I think a professionals view on the steps needed would be helpful.
I have been through this whole process in Cnr. Their total is .2.4 with 600 k reserves and currently m cap at £40 odd m .
I think it is a useful comparison, more so than ggp .
As well as ggp, posters have previously used buriticca as a metric for estimation of value, ignoring not only the stages of development but also the fact that it was a fully funded almost complete mine when sold . Giving no allocation for needed dilution to progress to reserve stage let alone construction. I stated Burittica resource as 11 m , Bhargav disagreed and stated that they had 3.6 m oz for comparison when justifying unrealistic m cap predictions. Yes 3.6 m reserves . 11 m resource .
It is important people understand the real process of exploration.
My concerns are the lack of finance to progress having seen the ammount needed over in Cnr to get to progress and don’t see any chance for Omi as a stand alone going the distance, however they don’t need to.
Appreciate any thoughts
