123, your doomsday scenario is the same for anything. Much more chance everyone sells Omi shares at once than Bitcoin ! It’s never gonna happen. The ponzi in the room is fiat currency. Us can print 40% more$ each year. Bitcoin has finite total that increases v slowly and tbh with lost coins probably doesn’t increase.

Hi Rob, of course there are other sectors. Nvidia is a good one or Tesla both that I hold. Hum has been a basket case for years and an example of bad management and how you never get the truth.

With Bitcoin it is easy to predict correctly . I said oct onwards would be hot and I am no genius! Compare that to the last 2 years of predictions of Omi on here? Got to get back to work now.

Dr, it is pretty simple. You look at the 4 year cycles. Look at the bottom to top each cycle then you can do a fairly decent prediction. Of course if like 123 you think but everyone might seek at the same time you will not believe. However Bitcoin 15 year history is somewhat more predictable and rewarding than omi.

However we now have etfs, Microsoft voting on whether to hold Bitcoin on its balance sheet pension funds starting and what gonna happen if/ when the us treasury start buying Bitcoin? It’s what they generally call a no brainer.

All you need to understand is basic maths.

123, I sold some of my producers last week because they were giving up the gains I had seen this year. Even in a gold bull market the gains have still been fairly modest and brittle. As far as Omi is concerned, time will tell. Finance is the major issue for me. However a 1x is ok for me . I don’t believe in setting expectations too high. You can always revise upwards as we go.

Crypto is far more predictable which I like. There most likely will not be more than 1-200% gains in Bitcoin this cycle, it is bit miners that will see the real increases. That’s why I have been loading up. In crypto my main holding is solana not Bitcoin.

Conventional miners have been much harder to make returns in personally even with switching to producers.

Find me any gold share that can match the graph of Mstr or terra this year.

I am not binary and hold conventional miners but there is no comparison in the results. Just my personal experience but graphs don’t lie which as a share trader you should be aware of I would think.

I am happy to see how this pans out and then adjust as we go.

123, whether you put your pocket money or big money into a 15 bagger it is still better than shrinking your cash in a minus bagger. You have no clue how much I have invested. I don’t say I am rich but clearly, if I invested the kind of cash that some have apparently buried here I would be extremely rich.

15 bag is out of date now, you need to keep up with the markets mr share trader! Fact is, if you had put all your sharetrader cash into something like Mstr you or anybody would be a hell of a lot richer. If I had taken your share trader advice I would be a hell of a lot poorer.

Shg had nearly 2 m oz very high grade and 2 producing mines for 100 k pa production and was sold circa £150 m, which was a decent premium. Aaz currently around £110 m

Cnr currently have 2.4 m oz in Nicaragua 600 k in proven reserves , high grade fully permitted. M cap around £40 m currently how do you explain that?

E l, yes I do know what dollar cost averaging is and do use it some times. Are you saying that is what you have been doing all these years? I think that would be ok for the last few years , however many have been here from £1.80 days!

My average is around 22.5 p through trading and have banked some modest profits previously. I just do not see that these kind of shares pay off to just hold. Not Cnr specific at all. I have learnt lessons here and will take out profit early doors on spikes. So glad I did in Wsbn. Still lost a bit there but not too bad considering where it has ended up. I treat them all with kid gloves ready to exit but tbh have come to the conclusion that they just aren’t worth the risk.

My pf has benefitted greatly by switching to bit proxies and tech based shares. Even though I am not techy .

Karl, more likely if we have a move up tbh. Yes 2.4 May tempt me. Depends if there is another raise nearby. My average is 3.5 and happy to buy at that price if it moves up for good reason.

Breakt, could you give the workings for your calcs. What level of resource estimate do you think justifies $50 or $100 p oz in the ground?

My experience in Cnr is that when they added extra land concessions it made no difference to the share price. It’s just land unless you can explore it.

E l, is true that I don’t know what others here do and that they could be liars. And according to you their secrecy when buying. However from posting on here for the last 6 years and the many disagreements with yourself and others and more importantly the share price itself it is fairly obvious that peeps have had to bury more and more cash to get averages down to a point that gives a return any chance. Unless they have traded! We are sub 20 p are we not.

Doesn’t give me any pleasure seeing this scenario, yourself and others have spent your time on here trying to cancel any warnings I gave. I am currently buying hoping for a final end here but have a much reduced holding.

Genuinely good luck to yourself and everybody else here. I have a different opinion generally but like people to make money from investing.

The Bitcoin cycle is the same as the us presidency and each year after the election has been the strongest part of the bill. Yet you tell me to sell and buy Omi in the 4s cos I will miss out. 😂😂

Karl, I look at my crypto bag and it’s up over 15% today yet you state I can’t make more than 10% pa. 12 of my shares are b miners . Add to that Mstr , sealer, coin, Robin Hood, nvidia and palantir. They make up probably 70% of my pf, and the rest is made up of mainly producers although binned equinox and cmcl last week to load up more elsewhere. I will be taking some profit back out and putting back into producers.

Some years are made for making money and others for losing. Timing and being in the right sectors key and knowing when to get out the hardest. Good luck here, I may well stick some profits in here depending on how things pan out !
