I guess if peeps previously wanted this to go to production then this gives them their wish. It is a rubbish valuation but has to be said at least mil have the benefit of cash generation. Of course , as we know by the time any mine is built and producing the gold bill run could well be over and Kyla production waning. It’s partly a gamble on the gold market going forward. Building a mine in a new jurisdiction is a different kettle of fish to sorting out problems in a current one.

Re calibre, obviously their negotiations involved a lower offer . They are leaving the door open I guess with their statement for Cnr to engage. Calibre are a whole deal better proposition than another aim tiddler tbh. Fingers crossed on that one. One look at most producers is that every time there is a decent pullback in pog producers drop back around 30% . Mel May be a success story so far but things can change quite quickly .

This is obviously the deal that has been cooking for ages since the other party left. We can only guess that the other party was calibre but still a guess. They could have left early doors. Like you I am curious about the mentioned Chinese offer.

As far as mellons credibility Not only does he have quite a few dusters on his cv but forecasting 150 k production here for this year and then turning round and completely contradicting this didn’t seem to damp his credibility on this bb.mellon on his own admission made his first independent pile mugging Russian grannies .

$18 m to fund 40 k m drilling this year. Collective have just raised $46.4 m recently. They have raised and spent more than has been spent on our project, as dr stated have no resource estimate . Common sense tells me that an imminent resource of 1 or 2 m oz is extremely unlikely fluff.

Collective does seem pretty toppy to me but is because of the highly experienced team, high skin in the game which gives them ability to access large sums for proper levels of exploration. Far more than our j/v partners put in. I am in arris which has a m cap around 850 m c with 18 m oz ,.production and a massive expansion under way in Colombia. Also projects in other jurisdictions. Sometimes valuation comparisons don’t make sense.

When questioned on motives I have always stated that I believe I can make a decent profit and stand with that but am also prepared to sell out at a moments notice if it makes sense. Sold a big chunk yesterday in Cnr because it made sense and redeployed capital . There are different ways of looking at things and always be prepared to change your view because circumstances change and in the world we live in now pretty quickly.

I said just over a week ago expecting 5s on news when we were still in the 2s. I am happy being nearly 50% up that is great but not prepared to peddle overblown expectations . At the end of the day the share price will react to various factors, posts on a bb not being one of them.

To me the detail in this deal that has been negotiated although not a good deal intimates to me that there has been little other serious interest . I do find it surprising that there isn’t a Chinese deal to top this especially after my mentioned it.

Not sure I like the idea of irrevocable support at any point. Recommending a deal is fine but should leave the door open to counter bid at any point before a vote imo. This process has been opaque from the start. Hard to imagine that there isn’t a better deal to be had . Surely we Havnt waited over 2 years for this. We have burnt around £8 m waiting in limbo and£6 m mill. Tragic . Obviously Mellon doesn’t need the cash so may well be happy to wait more years but personally not liking this one at all. wondering what has happened to the Chinese bid. Why dig up an old dormant calibre one. All odd .

Hi Rob. Been busy over at Cnr today . Selling. Big news there but not what many were expecting. Bailed quite a bit out with reasonable profit. Funnily enough did put a bit into orcp for a quick punt. Also added a bit here on the drop. Good results from one hole. Expected a spike and drop on news . Pullback not too bad really and interested to see where we head tomorrow.

Last Monday I said 5s on results and happy to see 6 p hit early on. Interested to see where we head tomorrow.

E l, gives me no pleasure seriously. If I was too conservative I had a nice surprise to look forward to unfortunately it doesn’t seem to have even gone to my expectations. Never saw a deal with another aim tiddler coming at all. I am already looking beyond this now and transferred some elsewhere. Will keep some though just to see what gives.

This whole scenario is quite wierd to me. Still doesn’t smell like a properly organised process. Dropping calibre name in when they are not in current negotiations is odd. They may well re enter but it is obvious that their non binder must have been low. In one article mtl have significant holders voter support. Well who is that? Has Mellon double dated his support? Elsewhere they are looking at hostile bid. Don’t see that one personally

Punter, in mil rns it states all current and yet to be issued shares ie warrants and options. There is still the question of mc opaque reward , brokers fees, and possibly a 15% tax to be deducted. I also note mtl has a recent 10% interest rate loan from one of its holders. Bit friendlier than granny robber rates.

Proactive stating £150 m for Cnr rather than £150 m combined of yesterday’s article. I doubt a £98 m company is offering £150 m personally.

Some strangeness here. Odd that Cnr have stuck calibre historic non binder alongside mark . Why not disclose all of the non binders then? Odd that mc mentioned a Chinese offer recently . Why is that not mentioned rather than a historic calibre non binder that obviously must have been low. I reckon my are probably £90 m but this is finally the put up or shut up moment.only the takeover panel can extend the offer period. I do not imagine that will exclude anybody else joining in at any point. Think this may have some time left in it.

888, concur they have just added the 2 current m caps by the look of it. Have to note that any deal is cash and paper, the breakdown of which we will hopefully learn. Also we need to see how many allayed costs are involved.

Agree with e l, the idea of a £100 m company deal is a bit of a stretch . The enlarged company would have some income though. We assume that the plan would be to build the mine? Let’s hope if forces someone else into the open. Not sure if I fancy paper in a small cap .
