Cf, I used calibre as a comparison to cnr a couple of years ago .they had. M cap very similar to cnr and used cnr in their comparison chart on their website showing themselves cheaper per oz than cnr.m cap was around £15 m if my memry serves . They are a very different beast now .rio has certainly changed the situation in nica and for cnr .The sp doesnt lie.There is nothing like a serious take over rumour to push up the sp . This is absolutely what cnr has needed .It makes cash raising a much more achievable scenario for production .
It is to be expected that there are profit takers at this point for any 18-20 p recent buyers.Interesting to see how the next few volatile weeks go but 40 -50 p has to be a possibility .Hopefully most here will finally be in profit or close . Gla

Froggy.i sold her once about 25 years ago with the proviso that I had first dibs if she was re sold .couple of yeArs later she came back in better nick than she went for same price. Been working hard recently so not too incentivised yet .Its another investment.I gave about £800 in the eighties.never gonna go down but a wind up not to be using her.

Founding shareholders.well a lot of h20 under the bridge since then . They may well have sold many many years ago when their founding shares were worth something ,otherwise why point out founding rather than present . makes me wonder why they listed on aim instead of us markets ?

Next years elections are a possible worry but with between 70-80 k displaced opponents mainly in Costa Rica and serious supression of media and opponents it is unlikely he will lose the next election ,whether it is him or his vice president wife.

Phil, the arb panel will see it for what it is as they will have access to the facts rather than hypothtical bb guesses , hopes and fears .

Tsbs,that is the goergians claim and why they applied for arb,or do you dispute that as a fact ?uzs apropriated for similar reasons in the oxs case,oxs lost when claiming in arb .They are not my claims .the arbitration will decide the validity as they did in oxs.prodigy posted in Ricard shead we trust before the decision..companies are frugal with facts to shareholders.they cannot do that with the arbitrators.

I was trawling through theoxus board the other night to see similarities.
The georgian gvnt are following the correct path imo .they are leaving it to the arbitrators to decide the rights and wrongs rather than as in the uzbek case of appropriation.The reasons seem similar,ie non conforming with the psa. there were people on there claiming to have staked their houses on the arb that couldnt fail.
Ironically there are posts from prodigy not long before the determination .needing oxs to come good because the rest of his shares were shoit and followed by in Richard Shead we trust.sounds familiar.
Irrespective of the arb I think there is little chance of seeing cash back from here but until the fat lady owns up there will always be a glimmer of hope which even the more pessimistic ( shorters in prodigy language) posters,myself included (pesimistic) will still look in in the hope of something convincing.we await the arb decision .
I would suggest a read of the oxus board.around page 50 is around the time of the decision.
