E l, the reason stated in the last 3 raises were to finalise bfs , oh and to clear land. So yes complaining that there have been subsequent raises for exactly the same reasons at a lower price each time seems reasonable to me. am curious at what point some here would actually complain. What I do know is the faithful non complainers were the ones forcasting production by now wheras I expected and warned that many of you were deluded on the timescales along with the way overoptimistic share price predictions. Yes still waiting for those £ 2,3 and4 valuations.
Mc can win by producing something within a reasonable timescale , because a reasonable timescale means less costs and less dilution.
People are well within their rights to be pi..ed off . bfs is 9 months overdue , mellon said 100 k oz production this year ,150 k oz next year. Management dont really seem to have a scooby about timescales. will hopefully get there eventually but anyones guess when or how many shares will be in circulation. Yes we may get a sale but that is not going to give you your £ss share price . Personally hope calibre or equinox take us out and get someone experienced at the helm.

Tester, concur that the piffling ammount converted is not a great advert and not too surprising the sp has dropped further. This has sub 20 p looking extremely likely. I am sure that some here can still paint a positive spin however. The two opportunities to actually make some money out of this lagard in the last 6 years or so have been when it hit 18 p. Should be plenty of takers judging by this bb, but the odd thing is when the buy signals arrive the longterm mudslingers dont seem too keen to buy when it makes sense they prefer to wait for the rise. Deffo worth a punt sub 20 p imv. Freeshare have removed it from their list of traded shares which is annoying for me but maybe a sign to stop.
If you believe cnr is worth ££ss surely this bb will be buying bucketloads at the knockdown price presently.

Hi munch, well I reckoned on the last raise.anyones guess from here. I think sub 25 p the risk reward is decent . Should be financed to construction finance hopefully. Anybody with an average over 45 p are in far a long wait without copious ammounts of averaging down. If I were buying now I would look to de risk as soon as bfs is published if there is a decent rise above 30 p. There are still a number of worrysome possibilities for me around geo politics. The £s per share are a bit of a dream imv . The skyrocketing gold price has for sure failed to appear so far while costs are rising fast.
I hold some around 30 p but it is a small part of my of now and for some reason freeshare will now only let me sell cnr not buy so I probably wont be adding tbh. Not paying dealing fees.
Interestingly cryto appears to have diverged from following the stock market and particularly tech. Some healthy gains finally over the last month while gold has plumetted. been selling some matic , aave ,compound and a bit of etherium today With the aim to hopefully re buy on a pullback. Might be being hopeful but if you dont try. Same m/o as with shares, hodling isnt for aim imv and cnr is a good example.
Been buying producers and copper /lithium shares while they have taken a tumble.
Hope you are doing ok.It is a hard time to be bagging profits this year and the outlook isnt great for the next year or two. I am hopeful in wsbn and palm but pretty speculative

Island girl, interestingly crypto seems to have stopped its corrolation with the equity market and put on a bit of a spurt while gold is plumetting. All the parabolic predictions for gold have been a bit wide of the mark over the last couple of years and now costs rising considerably.

Not giving the option to buy rather.

Dr, I bought omi and wsbn at similar times ar around 4 p . I have traded both on the spikes and re bought but have had more opportunity in wsbn than omi of late and currently buying palm from 7 p downwards. So very similar share prices really so will be interesting to see where they all go from here.
Gran colombia have a massive resource and aris is pretty impressive with good grades.Sector I have traded cobr too and am adding palm You compare your way and I will compare my way.

K9, I am referred to by some here as the resident de ramper so my views are fairly critical but My views are as follows. I have sold on a number of occasions and re bought cheaper lowering my average. Currently I am not convinced that presently the risk reward is favourable. The whole market is trashed atm. We are funded for a good length of time. I have flagged up the last two raises in advance a month or two before the raises would be the sensible time to exit. Personally may add a few if we drop a bit more. Regarding nationalising , personally my view is that the geo political situation has gradually worsened but nicaragua is part of the free trade agreement and that is the thing to keep an eye on. Any nationalizations would end up with arbitration claims that would be pretty punitive for a small country like Nicaragua although just uncertainty can be enough to lower share prices . If they should be expelled from the free trade area then that is a different story and wouldnt totally rule that happening. We are funded for the forseeable future and personally will wait for confirmation of bfs but it absolutely better come before another raise late this year or there will be no credibility left.
The obvious positive for buying some physical gold is that you cant get wiped out and you dont have to think about the rising cost involved with mining. However the gold price is only just over double its peak in the early eighties. However gold had a stellar 70s . You may make larger gains from holding but shares are always a gamble. Personally adding producers that pay decent dividends while they are trashed expecting a fairly rapid 30% increase when the gold price recovers a bit. Good luck with your conundrum. Personally I generally rarely sell a whole holding unless for a very good reason and prefer to stagger sells to hedge the risk of getting it wrong somewhat. Anyhow good luck with whatever you do.

K9, having had some experience of that slimy toad Bell, that is an unfair comment . The king of confetti and consolidations is an altogether more shameless beast. Mc basically didnt have the experience of developing a mine and timescales and was aiming for a sale long since. we still have the asset that has been fully explored over admittedly a much longer timescale than expected by many. Bell is an upper class snakeoil salesman who treats his sh with contempt and produces nothing tangible. Funny the little connection with Randy martin ending up with rrr farsical el lemon disaster rrr virtually giving away of its colombian mine after spending s holders millions on it . Sector, I say wsbn is a. Better comparison for ggp because of it location in the same jurisdiction. If they should turn up some good grades it is pretty likely that they will be approached. I am primarilly interested in capital preservation. I sold some wsbn on a recent spike for 13.75 having added some extra at around 7.5 p in april . I have since been buying them back below 10 p . I dont see these kind of swings with omi currently and have enough omi for my liking.
As regards the majors, it now becomes obvious that this is a double edged sword tbh and perhaps I have less trust of these majors than some. Is it better to own 100% of your project and raise 30 m or basically give 75% of this multi billion ? For 30 m ? Not sure the answer is clear tbh to me. Aim is news driven and we have 2 levels of obscurity.
When using gold companies as a reference I would suggest looking at other current tsx colombian goldies. Perhaps start with gran colombia, that hold 44% or aris and 36% of denaius. Massive resources paying a dividend and is the largest producer in colombia . Has a m cap of £221m Aris m cap£144.
Try looking at outcrop and fennix oro then explain how this had £1 a share by lat year christmas or , even 40 odd p this year. Its dreamland imv. I would say from here downwards is worth a punt on news of next phase but personally If I bought any soon I would be looking to unload them at 12 p to de risk . The whole market is trashed but last year when £1 targets were being bandied about I did say to be careful buying too high also said peeps that bought into ggp above 30 p as in here would be lucky to see that price again any time soon. These shares are very speculative and many have got caught up in the we are like ggp narrative which I dont agree with . I see wsbn as a better bet if you want a ggp relative. Use colombian based explorers m cap to give a comparisson. I have said before , I hold calibre , a mid tier in Nicaragua and nevada. They are spending $20 m on drilling pa,and 18 rigs they have a m cap around £300m producing 250 k oz and $90m cash and debt free. Some have got sucked in here a bit I think . The majors may yet walk, no guarantees so I agree if we progress to the next phase that should help the sp hopefully. Just depends where it gets to before that.
Low bod holdings is definitely a put off for many serious investors. If they are successful mining operators why cant they afford serious holdings ? Any investment advice goes along the lines of , how much skin in the game do the bod have. Bit of a red flag.

Pretty realistic imv. I think chances of a "regime change" is very low. More chance of deteriorating relations with usa and more Russian involvement. unless usa invade. Pretty unlikely imv but it is a mad world right now. Ortega and his witchfinder general have to pop their clogs one day though but doesnt guarantee anything since he has a fair smattering of progeny esconsed in the aparatus, and there has been a large exodus over the last 4 years. mc desribed a meeting with ortegas son at some point in rns long time back and if book 5 is to be believed a son holds some cnr shares.

Worth a punt under todays price. Little bit at a time for me to spread the load.30 p was my limit previously and 25 is the new limit for me. I think I will be able to add lower yet tbh. Wouldnt mind an average around 25 p. I think that is decent risk reward although I a, not expecting or needing as high an exit price as some anywhere above 35 p wouldnt be a calamity.

888, I would concur that the gold space and indeed most investments have been hammered over the last 6 months including crypto. What I would say is cnr share price was holding up pretty well in the 30-36 p range but took a big hit when the bfs was pushed on and the placing I said was coming arrived. What could he have done? Well the obvious answer is, finally deliver the long delayed bfs before another raise. The sp has done the same as after the previous raise, dropped below it.
E l, if we look at the bottom of the gold price aug 2018 cnr sp from memory was around 40 p some six months later cnr sp was around 18p. Cnr didnt rise in tandem with the rise in gold price . That is why I suspect a similar scenario may happen. Of course we may have good news to lift the sp but it is not looking imminent to me . I suspect I will again be able to buy considerably lower in the not too distant future.

C f, fair enough. Personally I dont think that after 3 quarters of missed timescales it is acceptable that we have no real explaination for it after being told it was two weeks away. They dont have disclose price sensitive information but they can outline the reason . I dont write off the possibility of it having a positive connotation but history makes me fairly cautious.
