I wish anyone who turns a profit from any method, long or short, only the best. And durby was right, I should have pasted in the links from those stories (the source was the FT.com. If you go to their site and type in ENRC you should locate the stories, and also the broker who said that many institutions don't presently find ENRC investable/ible. - Each person can have his or her own strategy and methods. Moreover, it is wrong to assert that only people who go long on a stock should post here. That is not true. How many 'professionals' using CFDs go short and long every minute of the day. If these boards are to serve as more than merely reinforcement of a buy strategy only because someone has already brought in and wants to 'ramp u[' the stock price, then that is dishonourable and really rather petty. I have reasons and methods I employ, and yes I buy shares buy only to keep a few days at most. I bought BBY at 224 (last day for the ISA) and got out at 249. I got in at GLEN at 213 and out at 319 one day later. Until the markets begin to behave more normally, I am not an investor, but will be a speculator, just like all those 'professionals'. Why should they take our money, know what is going on, know everything that you don't, and make a profit not because they are clever, but because they overwhelm from the inside? It is those whom you should be berating. Not I.
