Yes Cavendish, I agree in the main, depending on the offer to buy out a licencing deal would probably be better in the long term. 3M already make millions of masks per year, it would seem pretty simple for them to switch production to a similar product with advanced technology.

MF, the only thing I agree with in your post is that you've been saying it since Summer.....we know you have trust me! ;-)

I was sat last night wondering what exit strategy Gareth Cave might have here. The masks are not really the core product line of this business, although it's incredible what they've done this makes it even more incredible. But thinking along those lines I was wondering if Dr Cave would ever licence this out or even sell it whole. Thinking about the companies that this has direct synergy with I can't think of anyone better placed than 3M.

A 3M deal here would be transformational, the tech is protected and developed, he has first mover advantage and this is right in 3Ms sweet spot, this would be gold for us holders. Exciting times ahead whatever may happen.

In my opinion, yes very easily. Once the media get hold of this and orders are inbound this will go global! I have a feeling this will be an acquisition target for a company like 3M.

Bwana Yep, I was on the board of such a company, acquisition is again very different to commercial news. As far as I'm aware we're not expecting that news just yet.

Cardinal, that would mean that there was an investigation and the director was found to be in possession of significant material data and traded specifically because of that data, hence the fine. If you look at many AIM business that release news regularly you'll find many directors buying.

There is an increased focus on director selling before bad news though! Which for me personally makes director selling a positive indicator, not negative as it's often seen.

If you can prove he is aware yes, but non-execs are often not, which is why there are many reasons the chairman has to approve. Also, this is very different from a closed period which is what was being suggested they are now in...which they are not

People often get this wrong, as a very recent former director of a large UK based software PLC the close period is only relevant to earnings announcements under the MAR regulations.

If it were otherwise, directors of high growth organisations would never be able to buy or be awarded options or equity. Imagine if your company was releasing news monthly, which many do.

Bwana, that is just not true. Close periods are only related to the two months preceding a preliminary, final or interim earnings announcement and one month prior to a quarterly earnings announcement.

All directors must obtain approval from the chairman to trade.

That's just not true, as a director you can buy whenever you want unless in an official closed period, which is very unlikely! Selling shares before bad news of which you are aware of is very different!

I agree, selling RMS shares in large volumes has had an impact on the SP.....go figure, who'd have thought it! However, you stated that he wants to drive down the price...that is complete rubbish. He wants to raise capital to further develop the CV19 test and expedite delivery of value, if that means a drop in the SP in the short term he really doesn't care as he is strategically invested and certainly not worried about the SP over the course of a few weeks....unlike some traders!

@octopus - What a stupid comment! Of course he doesn't 'want to decimate the SP' of any of his investments. However, he needs capital now and wants to do it without dilution and it makes total sense to take some short term pain for long term gain. The fact that both of these stocks can stand up to such pressure is a testament to the quality of the mutual opportunities, which of course the board totally understand.

They have already said "there is helium seeping at ground level" They've had years onsite, the geophysics is underway/complete. This is the most exciting project and I'm sure it will soar on admission.

Well technically helium is very very cold! :-) But yeah I agree, this could be one of the most sought after stocks on the LSE. Helium is incredibly precious and ever more in demand, I'm very excited to be part of this!

Exactly Iceman, I'm in both too. God knows why this has turned in to us v them - Both have massive upside potential and will only complement each other.
