I did exactly the same thing Morbox. Sold one third of my M&G at around 217p just before the bid rumour as well and saw it went all the way up to 248p. Was really gutted indeed. M&G used to be my largest holding of my portfolio but now has dropped to 2nd place behind VOD.

Sorry Joey, for being a bit too over dramatic. Well, in fact it’s not that red across most of the market. The FTSE100 is only down 0.3% but M&G is down 2.94% and VOD is down 1.1%! For me it's very heavy losses but my apologies for over dramatised it......
