Cavendish short - Groks summary:

Cavendish's RNS (10/10/25) shows they sold 26,882 BOOM shares and bought 14,597 on 9/10, ending with a net short of 12,881 shares (-0.07%). It's not a bearish signal—brokers like Cavendish trade to keep the market liquid during volatility, not to bet on the takeover. The short position balances their book, likely supporting client trades. No deal doubt here, just standard broker moves. Watch for more RNS on big holders!

Just for balance - big holders were happy to sell over £7.20 and take advantage to profit and/or reaccumulate on the consequential drop.

Many circa £40k cash ins and the highest around £98k.

Large holders seem happy to drive the price up and down to accommodate substantial gains.

All makes a market... :-)

Bonnier does appear to be the somewhat the scoundrel so will be interesting to see what the judges make of the side show.

as two of the bigger shareholders happy to declare their holdings - what's your thoughts on the c&b court case debacle. to build and hold such positions shows confidence in boom but we've had this dark cloud debacle holding sway for a considerable time. i'm only a 4k shareholder but considering doubling up on the strength of action since friday and the profit take and buy backs.

it would be interesting to understand your balance of thought against the business of boom and this ****y cloud that's had a negative impact and held back what should be a much improved mc. markets are not rational, and we've been through a dark aim period never mind a boom dark period but what's your thoughts as two leading and respected investors? you'll have traded the rises and falls as would any sane mind but do you see this legacy case still having a material impact for the foreseeable?

Bannor, if buying in today would that still give an entitlement to pick some up in the WRAP offer? - It wasn't made clear in the placing RNS.

Also, what's your thoughts on allocation as the amount seems small. Do you think they will go for over subscription and give people a bigger allocation but probably not as much as requested?
