Phil, I have been looking at car production figures, its interesting that PmcG now says "DMS will be in all cars " he has also said "the market size is around 100m cars per annum"

So how many "new" OEM wins do we need to get say 50% of the annual production or 50m units.

So I assume all our current OEMs will expand to all cars, source our CEO said "DMS will be in all cars"

So using the data from the Cenkos report that gives us

GM 7.8m
Ford 6.4m
FCA 4.7m
Daimler 2.5m
BMW 2.3m

Total = 23.7m

So to get to 50m ish we need 3 wins
- VAG (we are either best in Europe or we aren't)
- Toyota
- Hyundai or Honda

So that's all we need 3 new OEM wins, the big two remain up for grabs, we get them and 50%+ will be easily achieved imo.

Interesting (in my humble opinion) that Denso have put a link to this article on LinkedIn today, its from CES but I hadn't read it before. Paul seems very positive (in my humble opinion) about Japan post CES, and obviously we had a tie in with Qualcomm (fact not opinion) announced at CES. Denso is part owned by Toyota (24.77%, and 8.72% Toyota Industries) fact not opinion.

I got a lawyer to read this before posting and he agreed it should not be construed as a buy recommendation, he suggested it should be received as helpful and open up a debate, he is clearly used to dealing with sensible people

S7, I generally ignore you, but please explain where I have said SM will win the RFQ. We are awaiting "notification of a decision" ie it could be a win or a loss. Not dangerous in the slightest

The interviewer asked the RFQ question during the Aviation bit, Paul explained they are bidding for Aviation license not an RFQ as such.

Auto, in the past he had only really mentioned US & Europe RFQ, at this stage safe to assume they are submitted and we are awaiting formal notification of decision. It is noticable that in his two interviews since CES he has mentioned Japan (and today Korea also), my assumption is the Japanese RFQ's must be coming on line now, it appears we are well placed in that market

PP, lol, you should feel no pressure. As you attended many of the previous events you have done more than your fair share.

If anyone else feels strongly about speaking with Paul then they should make the effort to attend, always the same people on here asking others to attend and feedback.

I have had the pleasure of meeting you and you are one of the good guys and fair play for attending, but don't feel pressure to update those of us who can't be bothered to attend

He can't say anything at today's event that isnt already in the public domain. He has a 15 minute slot at what looks to be at best an event that might attract a few new day traders.

Makes no sense in my simple mind why he has travelled from Canberra for this event alone, but in the absence of news I can only assume he has.
