BNP leads voter support with 41pc, Jamaat follows at 30pc in latest survey

A majority of respondents, or over 41 per cent, said they would vote for the BNP in a recent survey, while 30 per cent expressed support for Jamaat Islami and nearly 18.8 per cent for the Awami League.

The findings were presented at a press conference held at the National Archive Auditorium in the city's Agargaon on Wednesday.

INNOVISION Consulting presented the findings from the second round of the People's Election Pulse Survey, which focused on voters’ political preferences.

The first part of the survey examined public opinion on the election environment and the interim government’s performance.

The survey was conducted among 10,413 respondents across all 64 districts and 150 constituencies, making it the largest and most comprehensive face-to-face household survey on the national election pulse.

The initiative was carried out by INNOVISION Consulting in collaboration with BRAIN (Bangladesh Research Analysis & Information Network) and the platform Voice for Reform.

I can’t find it at the moment, but I obviously will, but a few months ago i posted a link on here where it stated that the Americans had changed the wording on their documents from coal to minerals, / critical minerals the reason they did this was due to the fact that if they renamed coal as minerals / critical minerals, it opened up a massive amount of financing, and from memory it also made it easier (for some reason) to give the green light to projects that may have otherwise struggled ….

Just a thought, and I may be over thinking, but with Bara about to run out of coal, via underground method in the next couple of years, why would you suggest or look at putting Barapukuria Coal Mining Company, on the Stock Exchange 🤔.

I can’t see anyone spending all week on here doing hundreds of 1 share trades over the whole week because they are bored….. imho, there is more to it than that, although it’s only my opinion, but as I’ve said before I feel it is institutional interest, but time will tell, until then, I guess the SP will go where they guide it ..

I guess if it does eventually drop lower, on a positive, you’ll get the buy that you want under 6p lol

I know that I’ve said all this before, but sometimes it’s worth repeating and reminding ourselves why we are invested ….

Imho, there is no way that Tang / GCM are going to let this slip through the net again, we know how corrupt Hasina was, and we now know that while she was in power the likelihood of the green light was thin, but the position is very very different now ….

- The Interim Government has said that Bangladesh should mine its own coal, and has specifically mentioned the coal at Phulbari.

- The Interim Government have said that they are writing a new energy master plan which will be announced in December which will include recommendations to the new incoming government to use the country’s own minerals / coal

- All the three main political parties, BNP, Jamaat, and NCP have said in their manifestos that the country’s own minerals / coal should be mined.

- As we have seen in press articles tonight the BNP, who are expected to win the election are updating their manifesto, and is based on their 31 point plan, which states they will use the country’s own minerals for energy.

- Under the Interim government the county’s debt has grown, I believe to over 100 billion, so they simply can’t afford to continue to import coal.

- In the press recently we have seen so many positive articles about coal / coal plants and how they are going to help transform the areas that they are in.

- The interim government have continued to build new coal plants

- The Teesta River project has been given to the Chinese, / PowerChina and is expected to start early in 2026

- Speculation is, that the Teesta River Project and Phulbari are connected

Etc etc etc …..

This on paper is now closer than it has ever been before, and over the next 2 or 3 months there are several different triggers that should make this become even clearer….

- Party manifestos

- New Energy Master Plan

- General press articles promoting coal

- Yunus announcing the Phulbari SoD before the election 😉 this has been speculated and certainly can’t be ignored

So out of 130 trades today at stretch probably only 7 of them are actual real orders how strange and bizarre is that!

Well so far Pappi, it looks like who ever it was that asked for the post to be deleted yesterday, is happy for it to stay today...

All very strange at the moment with loads of positive posts being removed, and then our new 1 share buyer coming and going as they get the urge (hahaha, like that is making a difference) ....
