adamk87, sorry about the post at the weekend mate, as i said earlier though, it did bring out some very good discussions…
it’s funny that you should say what you have in your post tonight, because i feel exactly the same as you about the youtube link this morning mate, and i am actually buzzing about it as well tonight… someone has gone to the trouble of making this video, and they have not just done it for the fun of it, and although they have tried to put a negative stance on it, just the fact that they have made it and what they have said, (even if it is mostly bs), makes me believe that they also believe that phulbari is going to be given that go ahead and for some reason they don’t want it too… may be they wanted to be a part of it, and are ****ed that the contract etc has gone to power china, but i do believe even more now that positive news regarding phulbari is on its way, and i honestly don’t think that it will be long now, obviously it may not be this week, but for sure imo that it’s coming, and that it now won’t be long imo….
also with some of the deals that hasina has done with china today, and i am sure more tomorrow, it gives pc so much more influence over pushing for the project forward….
i am running on now, so i will shut up lol, but will just add one of many of articles in the press tonight about hasina’s visit to china, one thing that i did take note of, in many of the articles was the way that hasina said, invest in the “energy sector, including renewable energy” make of that what you will…
bangladeshi, chinese firms ink 16 mous covering textile, evs, solar, fintech
"we believe there is significant potential for chinese investment, particularly in the energy sector, including renewable energy," sheikh hasina said.
