Recalibrate88, we already know that the Phulbari people want the mine to go ahead, and the country needs it to go ahead, and sooner rather than later .…. …. This will hopefully be seen as a major positive, and positive actions will now be taking place over the rest of the year by the interim govenment to stabilise the economy, and that as we all know means them using their own resources..

This has to be a positive for GCM, and just listening to the news, they are already saying what a positive influence China will have on the incoming government, which inturn, you would think has to be good news for us….

Mankiniparty, just a thought, but I did think that if there was the possibility that Hasina may have to resign, even if it was just for her daughter or son to take her place, that we may, much like when Hasina originally came to power herself, actually have rally with SP due to the thought that a new face at the top, may well do what we all know needs to be done to help turn the country around again and see Phulbari as a positive move forward…..

Just how much long can Hasina and Bangladesh justify carry on importing coal when they have a much cheaper option right under their noses!!!

Doze, sorry, I’ve been out all day, and wanted to post this earlier, but have read your recent posts with a lot of interest, and they seem to make a great deal of sense to me…

I know that Bangladesh sadly and obviously have some major issues at the moment due to quota reform movement, and although the ramifications of this will probably last for some time to come, I’m hoping that with the court case tomorrow, (Sunday) this situation will then soon improve …

So now to the reason of this post…. With all that you have said recently, if the situation in Bangladesh does improve sooner rather than later, I was wondering what sort of time scale do you personally think it will be before we hear some news on Phulbari ?

I appreciate this would only be your opinion, but nevertheless, would still be interesting to hear?
