doze, imo, i believe that this is another reason why china were so ****ed off when hasina started to intermate that she was going to give the teesta project to india, and although i am sure there were many other reasons this would of added to the reasons of why she did not get the loans that she was hoping for on her last visit…..

Hahahaha, yes mankiniparty, that would be very nice, I am going to put a timescale of around 4 months for a new government though, just because of how we know things work in Bangladesh, and the fact that it is going to take some sorting out, and then obviously when whoever gets into power, they will also need some time to get their heads around the PC, GCM, proposal for Phulbari OPM…

I know you should never talk politics, and in truth I now have no idea who is best placed to put into power in order to pull the country back together again, because it seems to be in such a mess, but, looking at the options for who would be best placed to push the Phulbari OPM project forward, which in turn, we know would help the country, I believe we would want the BNP, Khaleda Zia’s son, Tarique Rahman who is to return to Bangladesh in the coming days because Khaleda Zia’s is too frail now…

The only concern I do have now, is that I do wonder, how much power and influence the students will have into who the new leader will be, because that could give us a totally different outcome….

Listening to the news this morning, Bangladesh is planning to hold new elections in three months. In the meantime, Muhammad Yunus, who recently underwent surgery in France, will return to Bangladesh to form an interim government as soon as possible. This interim government will include representatives from all political parties.

Well with over 7 million shares traded today and there being no change in the share price, there is obviously a mixture of views here now as to what Hasina resigning really means for GCM at least in the short term …. I guess its time to sit back for the moment and come back in a few week’s once Bangladesh has quieten down with some normality hopefully being restored to the country where the students stop their riots and listen to what the army have promised them this morning so some order can be bought back to country ….

Cybertron, that’s funny, because I was just watching the Aljazeera news, and they were reporting that this could potentially be the best thing that could of ever happened for the future of Bangladesh!!
