What I'm trying to understand is- If Amigo Ltd went into liquidation would it take Amigo PLC with it or could Amigo PLC carry on with Amigo 2? I've read that liabilities lie with the Ltd company and not the holding company unless specific guarantees are in place

Regarding lending again
Let's say for one minute they start a new loan book with Amigo2 , we know for a fact this book would be as clean as any on the market if not cleaner. It wouldn't be beyond possibilities this could be done as it's the plan. If the worst happened this could be easily valued if the worst happened so why would bond holders be against this ?
I also have another question for brighter people than me.
If FCA, Customers and judge all vote down the scheme, wouldn't it be possible for Amigo Plc to wall off Amigo limited and liquidate while setting up Amigo2 ltd ?
Please believe me when I say I'm not hoping for this as I've been screwed several times by companies doing this to run away from their money issues

The BoD have a 3 year period if not 4 before they can cash in I think so even these guys get what they want
To be honest I'd have NO problem with them getting it if the rest was done properly
Steve, Image the alternative for the FCA ?
1) Amigo goes under and EVERYONE suffers as all available cash is sucked up by Amigos debtors and I don't mean claims
2) JB decides Richmond can fill the gap and uses the millions he got this year to set up replacement knowing the market will be there
If you were the FCA wouldn't you want a solution that looks after everyone including the new Amigo 2 ?

But at no point has it been put like that. I personally believe Amigo has a place in this world. But it has F,,, up and needs to sort this out before it can move forward. I also believe some have jumped onto the gravy train but that is the world we live in today
So rather than say we'll offer 5% of profits why not say we will redress all valid claims fully if we are given the chance to do it over the next 3 years. This way EVERYONE wins and there can be no argument about the end result
If Amigo make 15m profit in a Q the markets won't give a dame they are paying down claims with it they will only see 15m profit so SP will still rise., Claiments win. share holders win and after three years the BoD can cash in their deal as SP would be well over 40p

Why does it have to be this way ? and why couldn't this work ?
a) Amigo writes to all customers as suggested with a 6 month window to claim
b) Number and costs gathered so we know what's needed to get this **** show put to bed
c) Lets say for easy math Amigo need an extra 100m
d) Amigo starts lending from March
e) A percentage of every Q profits up to 100% go towards paying down claims debt until clear
f) Within 3 years Amigo now clear to crack on with this behind them

Write to all customers as planned, fairly and maybe even get an independent evaluations of true claims and associated costs. At which point an offer can be made with solution to funding that offer. While this was been done Amigo2 would need to started so I'm unsure how that would work.
But in my mind if they are saying 5% for 3 years that could either be extended for a longer period or % increased until agreed settlements had been met. But everyone would know the end game
Customers are treated fairly and openly and amigo gets the green light to start to move forward

I'm totally on board for genuine cases and I'm sure some Amigo staff or hopefully ex staff have put commission before customers
I just hope there's a way to do the right thing and allow Amigo 2 to thrive
We've clashed for months but never resorted to childishness and long may it last buddy
