Wouldn't it be just brilliant if we got an RNS Monday conforming SOA and lending again

I couldn't help myself so had a look at the trustpilot post
Is it me or does this read like they are assuming SOA will be approved by FCA?

Customer-"only to be told that it will now be months for a decision with a vote scheduled in March and then months after that before any conclusion if any."

Amigo reply-"We will be in contact with all customers within the next few weeks with all relevant information regarding your case and the Scheme"

Totally ****ed so I'll just say HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL x

I assume every penny that comes in as it will include interest paid from the customer
And that's where it gets hard to work out what redress could be
If someone has had a loan of 5k and paid back 10k including interest would redress be 5k plus 8% per year
Gary said SOA was preferred solution which implies he has other options but he also said he didn't think there was a systemic issue with the way the lend

Based on the actual numbers of claims being signed off by FOC today Amigo would need 800,000,000
We all know that's a load of tosh but that's where we are

Net loan book 2019 was 707,000.000 and customers were 224,000 giving an average of £3165 and profit of £100,000,000
Obviously that customer number and loan book weren't all from 2019 but it us an idea of the numbers
What I don't know and doubt anyone does is how much redress would be owed to someone who took a loan out and has paid it all back or how would they prove it was unaffordable 5 years later other than hearsay and would that be enough? Would it be interest they paid plus interest ? Or has it got to that ridiculous stage now that everyone should claim because it'll get passed ? Maybe someone should ask Sara. In your honest opinion do you think Amigo shouldn't of helped anyone and just became another loan broker focusing and prime lenders? Is her opinion that the people she is supporting or all the guarantors don't have the intellect to be trusted to get a loan?

Longer it takes, the more likely there's something going on behind the scenes
I'd like to think randeep is looking to resurrect, for creditors not to turn up to discuss their 200million is totally odd unless they know it's safe

Can't fault your last post to me for traders
I made a few quid in Boo after jumping out of Amigo but currently down here. I didn't really want to trade but I'd been in Boo pre Amigo so thought I knew what was going to happen and luckily I got it right
But lots of us that have been here since summer have full times jobs and aren't traders
Believe in JB, the fact he was selling everyday, takeover etc etc whatever the reasons we originally came here will be individual to each of us and the reasons we either held or sold, came back. didn't come back or waiting will also be induvial
For a trader this has been crap for a good while but a good number here aren't traders and the thought of holding for years doesn't worry us at all. Hence my post about putting 100% of profits towards SOA for 3 years.
As you say we are all entitled to our opinions and strategies'

DJ you are more than entitled to your opinion as are everyone else on this board
If others differ from yours that doesn't make them wrong

Hindsight is wonderful but doesn't make you money
Wish I sold Vela at .13 at nearly 70% profit, in fact I nearly did 45 minutes before vaccine approval announced which killed it
In fact Mark and I had discussed ftse on twitter but yet here we are
I'm afraid Pointing out past movements doesn't make you a good investor
Nearly any share effected by COVID will be up from Nov

Sure thing, hindsight, regret, I said it would rocket, wish I'd got in earlier, should of taken profit etc etc etc
All phrases I've read on the same BB on multiple boards
Take out rampers and derampers you'll still get different views on every share
Personally I want to 10/20 bag the money I have so I'm prepared to keep going with my high risk strategy
I've done all I can to question Amigo and I'm still here for better or worse :)
Are there more likely shares to give me 5/10/20 percent or even 1 or2 bag over the next 2 year ? yes more likely but not guaranteed- Global recession new vaccine proof version of COVID, War etc etc
I'm going to play this out but would hate for anyone to lose money based on my thoughts so you do you
