Debit is well covered by the cash flow. Also the sp is very low now going on 5 year chart. Maybe for some it’s time to buy unless your worried about the debit. They have done some brilliant business over the last year and we still have the split coming up so I don’t think there is to much to worry about unless of course one is a short time buyer. My divs have almost covered the fall in the sp from 1650 average buy so I’m happy. I did think that the div may of been cut due to the debit but as I say the cash flow is good.

Hi happy, hope you are well. Good idea to buy now. Although it may drop to <800 it’s still a good entry point. I’m making sure I slowly build my core holdings as Oxford biomedica will do very well over the next few years. I’m still buying low and making a hundred or so on sp going up although I think I may hold a bit longer from now on anticipation of a higher rise due to Various covid vaccines entering stage 3 trials.

Just added a small amount at 805 From my GSK divs ,nicely building up my core holding. Also added To my holdings in AstraZeneca . Both good entry points.

Usually does with shares then drops the next day usually to about the same % as the div.

I will be throwing a small kitchen sink at this share this time if it drops to > 785

If your feeling down about the sp then look at the past RNSs curevac, Vir, ViiV, now if that doesn’t make you feel better nothing will. Future is more than rosy. Not the now. My thinking is the first Big Bang will be with the HIV vaccine. Stay safe all , and keep your distance.

I would not be surprised on another 8% drop tomorrow going by what I see in the charts and rns dates. Then I will buy. Just my thinking . Unless another rns comes out .

Eccles04, in your view is now a good time to invest in insurance what with the Covid disruptions that we are having like airlines going bust or near etc . I honestly don’t know what sort of insurance these sorts of industries would have if any for protection . Or is it better to wait.

True, I would invest in insurance rather than banks . But I prefer biopharma meaning GSK and AstraZeneca and a few in the USA with there associated risk. although being so big they can usually get out of jail with massive cash flows and reserves

Sharehunter, agreed, I have been in and out of Ncyt made a little . But the sp is high now and if a vaccine is approved I can see the sp dropping so I’m staying clear.

Oxford biomedica are ok if you can get them for near 800, as you have good upside from there

Got my div yesterday from GSK. I’m the same I don’t like investing in insurance no matter how good they may be as they carry risk , I did buy prudential just before they had the split and then sold both them ana M&G for a small profit. I just stick with the medical and biopharma section most of the time.

In reply to the divs they are great for a solid company. You can get more with certain insurance companies but there lies the risk.

I did a fair bit of reading about Cambridge cognition. Looks really interesting. I bought a small amount and the share may or may not go up much further but looking at what they do, I think this will do very well over the next year . Brilliant stuff in regard to wearables to help manage Stress and depression which is obviously going to get worse for some.

The Vir investment by gsk was a brilliant move.
