The latest news about Pfizer bodes well for the collaboration between GSK/ Curevac as they also are working on the same way, mRNA to come up with a vaccine. I am amazed at the great business that GSK did with investing in Curevac.
Also GSKs collaboration with Sanfoni may well come up with a vaccine using GSKs adjuvant.
HIV news is also good . The sp in my view is a steal . I bought at 1650 and I’m very confident that my investment will reward me very well over the next 3 years, especially when the split happens with Pfizer to create the personal healthcare company from toothpaste to drugs.
It’s well worth a look at what Pfizer has in the healthcare side , page after page of medicines etc.
Going to be a massive healthcare company. Long term hold and get the divs every 3 months.

Reason for drop anyone???

I should of bought early but hung on hoping for a drop so will now buy half of the shares that I was going to buy and buy the other half on any weakness. As you say good share to have in regard to any inflation or sterling drop in the future and very strong company. :-). Stay safe all.

Denby69 trust me brokers talk rubbish and are not to be trusted. Unless I’ve misunderstood and their projections have a timeline of 5 years!

My thinking is this will become a very good company with decent growth and a possible takeover by a bigger cyber security plc.

Why anyone would want to invest in this company with its greed above morals is beyond me. Then again maybe the investors don’t shine to bright were morals are concerned.

Just following the market down which I expect to see the footsie at about 5000 taking into consideration covid and upcoming brexit . Only way out of the debit that the country has will be in my view a good bout of inflation, that will make the tories happy.

On second thoughts I will hang back as I can see the footsie going down to about 5000 the way this gov is playing the outbreak and the brexit.

I thought I had missed out on the sp rise a month or so ago, so I was presently surprised when just having a look to see what the sp was doing. Therefore I may well buy a few soonish.

Twonka, in 2011 they didn’t have the vaccines nor pipline and investments in other companies that they have now. Hence the sp is a good buying opportunity now

This is a fill your boots time for long term investors. I’m talking 5 years not five weeks . Then you will be handsomely rewarded for your patience.

The biggest vaccine producer in the world and biggest consumer healthcare company , and people are fretting about the sp. nuts in my view. Unless you are wanting to make a short term gain then maybe this isn’t the share to be in.

Priorities wrong way round ,debit reduction first then dividend. Anyway the sp will drop a bit over the next few weeks I suspect if we go into a further national lockdown.

Simple check the share price of CVAC. It’s not for sale anyway as it will be worth far more to gsk in the future with the science that CVAC have.

Yes, but it was the sun that said the vaccine was going to be shipped to an unnamed London hospital to be used on the 2 November By staff. I didn’t come across that bit in any other reports.

If the reports are true then the sp should go up a fair bit BUT I noticed it was put out by the Sun newspaper which as we all know usually lies about anything just to sell their toilet paper.
