Thanks for bringing it to my attention . Short trading up date 1st July , looking at the chart which looks great I might buy back in now, or do I wait for update? Decided 1/2 now 1/2 on update as long as it’s stable. :-).

Plus IF Pfizer went after GSK note that GSK would not have the consumer healthcare side. Which when GSK 68% of the new company will be the biggest consumer healthcare company on the planet.

The split is we’re the money will be made by investors especially the healthcare consumer side in the short term.

Salty , well you are wrong on the point of merger as Pfizer tried it a while back but didn’t succeed.I reckon they will be back.:-).

What I think will happen, Gsk/Pfizer healthcare next year which as we all no is done and dusted. Then later timescale? Pfizer to takeover or merge with Gsk pharma/vaccine company.

Yes I know that, obviously. Having been in since 2017 or thereabouts and GSK is my biggest holding . The consumer Healthcare side after the split will be massive with what Pfizer will be adding to the new company.

Think thats about right as well, considering all the drugs they have brought to market since the last time they were in the 900s.

Definetly no . AstraZeneca are really into oncology , becouse of the tie up with the Jenner institute and Sarah Gilbert etc they ended up ahead of the game so to speak with a covid vaccine .
But in my view their value is oncology. GSK. Are vaccine producers ( I know they have lots of personal healthcare products but that’s about to change. (Split).

GSK may be a bit behind but I expect the covid vaccines they are trialing to come on stream within the next 6 months. My view rightly or wrongly.

I agree , both are the biggest pharma companies in the uk and are undervalued. All fund managers see the uk footsie as being undervalued and that’s why there have been recently significant inflows into uk growth . The worm will turn soon for them and the top footsie 100.
