GSK meaning the consumer healthcare side after the split! I do wish Abcam would drop a lot as it’s a prime takeover target from the states in my view.

I would not be surprised with a crash or rebalance. All’s it takes is the likes of buffet and others to pull the rug from under us all. Woodford should be a warning that you have to be careful a;d check what companies the fund managers are invested in. I have infrastructure funds Lazard, and L&G.
Also vangard inflation linked gilts. A property fund only one. About 6 Asia funds and pacific tracker.
Not inflation proof but for the future growth in ASIA .

Uniliver Abcam gsk AstraZeneca National grid are all inflation proof to a high degree.

You did ok then. I think the sp will rise when the split gets nearer. Could be wrong but that’s my thinking. As with ALL these big companies the directors rob the shareholders blind. Give themselves bloody big bonuses and payouts.

That’s exactly what I have done with my funds bought infrastructure and inflation linked gilts etc.
Also added a footsie 100 tracker. Will be buying here soon . At least my shares should be ok gsk AstraZeneca Unilever. I am sure they will again say the inflation rate has gone up but give low figure to what’s real.

I think it may be because of the rumblings from Elliott and maybe funds are now seeing value going forward After the split. Just bought a footsie 100 tracker as all the so called experts reckon the uk is quite low value wise. Keep the faith. :-).

Sensibly written casapinose the short term money driver for them is the consumer healthcare side which I think they will manipulate for a sale within 2 to 3 years. But the jewel in the crown is the pharma and vaccine side which they won’t really want as it won’t be an short term cash cow .

Looking at the buys and sells I think there is a bit of manipulation going on edging the sp up and then selling . Not that I’m to bothered as I’m quite ok to wait now rather than do any short term dealing inS4 which has been ok for me. Happy days, ( I hope) :-).

Yes you could be right, I was just going on what they mentioned . I’m sure they are working on the next move as we write. I am staying put in this share as I think I would be mad to be tempted to sell now, knowing that they are expanding still. :-) next move will be fascinating I reckon.

Ultimately I expect the sp to touch 750 within 4 months , just a guess. :-)

I think everyone already knew what was going to evolve with Elliott as it’s in the name Hedge fund.
Rip it apart and get the best price and move on to the next company.

Zarasummer, on your point about undervalued footsie stocks I agree and am now going to buy a decent. Tracker as I’m expecting the footsie to go near 8000 in the mid term. :-).
