So I could have a profit and am now buying back in after < 2% . It wasn’t rocket science ( although to some on here it probably was). China gov , now that’s a hint. :-).

Sold and am now sitting on the sideline to see how the sp goes over the next day or so.

89 pounds each way for each of us .Plus had to get test from a German lab while there. So 89 going out each and same coming back. Actuall slightly more on return .

Well they must be making a good bit and will going forward I with another person flew to Germany a few days back and it cost me 340 pounds more or less for test there and back, and I checked the address for the lab which was yourgene Manchester.

You were right about American futures. Never dabbled in futures, seems a bit risky to me.

Definitely, I put the profit which was 600 and original stake into Abcam which is up a good bit from my entry point. Sold some uniliver today at a loss of 50 and bought back in here. Reason , S4 will go up a good bit more on the next major rns and when it does I will sell probably after 2-3 days of said rise. This is assuming the fickle market doesn’t drop. That’s the plan. :-).

Sp looks ok so added. Now hope it goes to about 13 70

That was not expected, still if it drops back to 550p I may jump in otherwise other fish to fry.

Now watch the sp go up a bit . Still it’s good news. As is 80% .

This makes me think that a penny or two will be added to thier products therefore helping to move inflation up a bit in the future. :-).

Zara, I think you are right. So holding some cash awaiting a further drop. I’m expecting a correction about October in world markets therefore I shall be going very defensive by then. Any views most welcome. :-).

Engineer, you are conversing with a fellow engineer, plus other feathers I my cap. :-). No matter what happens to the sp right now it’s a very good share to be in. One , undervalued as is most of the footsie, 2 it’s inflation proof. Also I have a fair bit in GSK which I bought at 1600s but I’m ok with it as I’ve been getting my divs and waiting for the split to make some money on it.

Spot on stellar, I will be putting a good bit in next time wether the sp goes up on next announcement, or back down a bit this week or so. Getting close to next big one I think. :-).

Footsie utterly doomed, that’s why all these silly funds are now moving and have been for the last year into the uk. Simple investing,buy at the bottom not the top.
Unilever just happens to be one of the best uk companies around . You have to take the pain as well as the gain. If it carries on south then great. A good takeover target for someone.

Why not. I can still buy in if it goes up. Done ok over the last 8 months or so. A bird in the hand! :-).
