Thank you MD. I work as a volunteer at our local hospital and I am surprised the number of staff that don’t get the flue vaccine. I get it each year for the last 15 years or so. I realise it’s hit and miss if the vaccine is the right one for a particular flue virus but personally I’d rather have it than not.

Yes your right spikeyj, I don’t think they will run out of volunteers though. What I don’t understand is how there can be different vaccines from different companies for covid 19. Assuming some come through. I Dont understand the science behind it.
Let’s hope someone comes up with a vaccine as South Korea having recently opened up schools have had to close again due to outbreak.

Still I suppose we will get local outbreaks for the foreseeable future.

Disagree with what’s been put out by the media. The imminent results of the first trial by AstraZeneca/ Jenner / Oxford uni, will be put out as an Rns tomorrow or maybe over the weekend.

What’s driving the buys.

The tests came from a Chinese company I believe.

This gives GSK a toehold in any Pharma bio company that hopefully comes up with a vaccine besides their own developing vaccine candidate.

Just noticed Oxford Biomedica have signed an agreement with Astra zenica so might offload a bit and buy some , spread my bets.

Good news so back in again. The news is very good not just for the potential virus vaccine ,but also shows that the oxbox facility is starting to gain traction.

I am expecting the sp to move up to 4,600 over the next month now that the lockdown is easing.
