Just bought after due diligence. The company looks ok to me . If anyone can see any negatives please let me know as I cannot see any.

Vaccine not being produced at oxbox as far as I’m aware.

Have a look at Sarah Gilbert online presentation on twitter. She mentions about AstraZeneca making the vaccine and why they are going ahead making it, it could possibly end up in the bin .
Let’s hope not. Extra shares are welcome as far as I can see as you say money in the bank for future use which they have explained about in the rns. :-)

I think you maybe right ,although I am hoping for sub 800, which will depend on were the footsie ends up today.

Novo have taken 10% I expect the rest will be gobbled up within the day. Might get my 800 if I’m lucky.

Still not a great amount of shares in issue though. I’m hoping the sp drops back tomorrow.

We all know about the risk involved , unless your daft. It’s about controlling the risk as best that you can. With most of my shares I have a core holding and dabble where I can. With AstraZeneca and GSK I add on lows and save a tiny bit to my core holdings . Seems to be working but not enough to buy a Porsche outright yet! :-)

To right it was. Even now it’s cheap. I can see a revisit to 1750 easily. I’m a great believer in GSK and I dare mention it the split yet again. Gsk is by far my biggest holding 1800 shares and I am thinking of adding .

The split will make a good profit as both companies will do very well out of it and I will get two brilliant investments.

Should of added at 800 but didn’t . It will in my extremely Ha, humble view go back their, I hope.

Revenue is not the same as profit , and that’s what fund managers look for. Yourgene will come good. Also it’s all about the fundamentals and the amount of shares on issue.

I just sold a bit to take some profit and will buy back on a drop.

Excellent presentation by Sarah Gilbert on Twitter . On thing I noted was that AstraZeneca are producing the vaccine at risk ( meaning no on knows yet if it will work) rather than me trying to explain it watch the presentation . Noticed that GSK don’t have the same risk, as they are putting forward the adjuvant which we know works with making doses go further. Do not think this will effect Oxford bio significantly.

Just been listening to Sarah Gilbert on Twitter extremely good presentation,worth a look even if you don’t understand all of the science. One think that I found interesting was that AstraZeneca are actually making the vaccine that they have already come up with although they Oxford don’t know if it will work yet studies are going ahead. The reason is if they have to manufacture a vaccine from a standing start it would take a long time to get it out to the public.

Therefore AstraZeneca in collaboration with othe manufacturers are making the vaccine at risk as it may not work. GSK it seems are not taking on so much risk as they are putting forward the adjuvant which helps to make the vaccine go further . Their adjuvant is used with other vaccines.

Time to head for the hills with a bag full of loot! Or wait til it keeps going up !

Dexamethasone is good news which is what they found by using it in the recovery trials. But you need to be very ill first. This is what I expect she will be talking about. Hopefully she may say something about the actual vaccine trials as well.

Excellent, many thanks for the heads up. Unless she says that they have come up with a vaccine, which she won’t I can see the sp going back to 800 then I will buy. Much to high right now.

Tears, ah well I will just have to wait for a market drop. Although not masses of trades going through. Lucky I hold GSK and AstraZeneca so no pressure. The next item to send the sp upwards will be the opening of the next part of the oxbox .
