Good move drifting I’m out as well bought Oxford Biomedica yesterday, not to many but thought it has more upswing as you say AstraZeneca are overvalued I think.

GSK has been quite recently and the sp is good . I’m heavily invested but I’m long term and looking forward to being in two worl class companies after the split.

Ha, ha, Sedaka, Yes after a rush to the head I will probably stay put . As you say next year should be better. The one company that is very undervalued at the moment is GSK.

Which is my major holding and the split will happen soon which will give shareholders a foot in two good companies.

Next final results are due September . Not too long to wait if there is no updates in the meantime.

That’s were bestinvest are good is it’s funds overseas, etfs , investment trusts and Oeics and gilts etc. Shares are basic in my view as they would rather have investments in funds were they get tailends. I buy vanguard Funds also to help cut the costs.

You can change providers ok but if you have funds you will have to wait about 5 weeks for the transfer of your funds which I reckon is blinking bent.

I have used bestinvest for a good few years now bit cheaper than some other well known brokers.
Although I would not rate the website as good as some others. I tend to look at Hargreaves landsdown site for info as well as Morningstar.

You broker should be able to convert you divs into shares , but you may well have to ring them up to tell them, which I had to do, but the changed as I decided I could get the div and put it in when a good drop happened. All swings and roundabouts. :-)

If the results are good obviously AstraZeneca will go up a good bit and Oxford will due to the manufacturing deal with AstraZeneca. The reason Oxford biomedica stay in the range that it’s has been in over the last 5 months or so is that they are not making any money . This will turn around in time as they have done some good deals with other companies to manufacture vaccines that are none covid related. The other good thing is that they don’t have a great amount of shares in issue which gives them a bit of flexibility if they need more cash.

Unless you take the payment and wait for a good drop and then invest .
