Out of interest JohnP what would you run a 40 tonner on? Some very big batteries? The VHS/Betamax comparison has been made many times here before but really who actually gave a **** on that one? I'm hoping this is too crucial and too big to get that wrong. The juggernaut question I open to all?? Can't be diesel , can it be battery , or will it tip the balance for H2 and a consequential global infrastructure for truckers at least?

The H2 option is largely being missed by the media. There are misconceptions and major shortfalls with the favoured EV option that very few seem to be aware of. Who's job is it to point these things out? Who can get the BBC to look at this whole area with a balanced and whole picture approach? A letter to the board wouldn't hurt , one to the climate change minister might be more relevant.

Just hoping one of the jobs on offer is for a press officer with attitude.....

Botak. Ditto no malice intended but a) maybe you should brush up on your French and b) I really don't give a monkeys what you or anyone else does with their money. What I dont like is someone who bails out of a stock then suggests to people who remain invested that a company 'is on the edge of the abyss' and has already reached total "capitulation". Botak. You are correct , Hydrogen and ITM may be the future. It still may be the future or a major part of it. There's been little news lately other than from ill-informed politicians. There have been a few shares sold.... a few shares , a minority , not a majority or "vast majority" as you call it. You were part of that sell off. I don't blame you , you want a quick return and the trend hasn't been good. But that's all it is. The technology exists , £30M in contracts exists and the world is still plummeting into a fiery pit. I've been with ITM virtually since the start and it still represents my greatest hope. Meanwhile you've (understandably) still bottled it. Try premium bonds.

AndyK. Don't get too despondent. We've been on this roller coaster for years. False dawns and false abyss's (??) many times before. Need some good news and a politician with a brain in the right seat. Seems the latter is unlikely for the moment , both home and abroad.

Sounds like it should improve. Figures aren't 'that' bad. I guess hopes have been high as this has been on the retreat for some time. Sit tight I feel , may add a few if it starts to recover.

There's either something fundamentally wrong with what they produce ie. it isn't a solution , or the figures aren't that bad and it's just going to take a little longer. The latter hopefully.

All this talk in the news about EV's..... maybe we should piggyback the wave as essentially Hydrogen powered cars fall in the same category. Then we have the soapbox from which to point out how much more 'conventional' refueling and refueling infrastructure is. We need a bit of manoeuvring I feel.

Bad enough queuing for diesel ( sorry planet ). Imagine the exponential rise in aggro as ECV's start to take over? How long to charge a 40 tonner and where will that happen? We go on about needing more HRS's and the lack of infrastructure but the same is true and magnified for battery supply. H2 can be produced 'off peak' , not the case for charging batteries nessessarily and not long since half time during the FA cup final had to be monitored carefully by the grid. Doesn't 'stack' up , pun intended. Logic will prevail and we will live with both , E and H.

Not a research project , not a working agreement , not a press article , not a this , that or the other. A decent definite order. Doesn't matter for what , HRS's , P2G , whatever. That's what has been missing and that's the obvious thing to get the SP moving. Not concerned though , it will happen.

Bought a few shares for my ISA and also trading account , mainly for the Divi but also because sector depressed. Still have them. Booklet dropped through the door a few weeks back. Wasn't expecting it , I'm with iii. Used it twice so far on meals , saved about £25. Interestingly only went to GK pubs because of the offer. May try a hotel if they'll take a crazy Border Collie....

Agreed, we need a great many more H2 pumps and the sooner the better. Hundreds and hopefully thousands. As regards how far I'd travel to an H2 pump I certainly wouldn't mind the 25 miles as it would hopefully fit in with a normal route and more importantly it would negate the need to go EV. EV doesn't fit with my regime and won't work as the numbers go exponential.

As regards ITM's business model I'm not sure they have one. They definitely seem short on Marketing bright sparks. They have so much going for them but no-one can play the trumpet. I wish they would make some ties with the Greens out there ( wind/solar etc. ) then they could carry the save the planet banner proudly. At the end of the day it's where the energy comes from that matters not simply what is emitted by an exhaust pipe.

I don't have a problem with the share options to be honest. It's how the world turns and often options are given out willy nilly at much 'lower' management levels. I want these guys to get rich on the back of their holdings for obvious selfish reasons. I truly think it will happen otherwise I wouldn't remain invested it's just that in terms of new business there has been a marked deceleration. I hope this will change over the next few months. GLA

News , news and more news but where's the new contract news that we really need? There used to be a steady flow and a steady pipeline growth. Promises of a huge tender pot to dip in to but virtually nothing coming through..... disappointing. Has to change soon?
