It doesn't make too much sense in my view to continually compare video taping to powering the planet. VHS to BETAMAX didn't matter , it was inconsequential , minor , made zero difference in the short , medium or long term. H2 may be behind the game but logic has to prevail. Batteries have major limitations as we all know and constantly highlight on this board. It is inevitable that we will end up with a mix of the two. The numbers are huge , the market will prevail, the market will grow rapidly, it's too big a deal.

There's a lot more going for us than you list Ginger but you're right , we need that deal to (finally) give the SP escape velocity. The scope is enormous , the press is encouraging but the penny has yet to drop. When it does your 45p will disappear in the dust. This year? Maybe but I've thought that for a while. Exciting ....

... We get some really big news which secures the future of this company full stop. At the moment , and up to this point , it's a £M here, a £M there and the odd bit of funding thrown in. Some massive numbers to come if the news flow is correct.

Hi Larry. I think people get in the habit of jumping on then jumping off. They don't hang around unless the SP momentum is upwards. I feel a lot of people watch this share , they jump on with good news as they predict( and expect ) the H2 economy to kick off. Unfortunately , as yet , we just see false dawns.
Bilbo describes ITM as a dog , not sure about that , but let's say I still expect the tail to wag vigorously sometime fairly soon. Not saying when though ......

Got to say I'm pro any sort of wind , Chef's Special Biryani excepted. Pluck it from the air , convert it to H2 when you need to..... love to see some kind of 'domestic' level set-up. Power the homestead , re-fuel the car and maybe make a few £ on top? Particularly suited to more remote areas.

AnneOwl. Thank you. You're a hoot. I don't have any AFC shares as yet. Wish I did , a profit's a profit. In all fairness any company that gives a boost to an H2 economy is good news , even the discussion is helping things in the right direction. GLA and I hope you guys have made some money today!

Hi Guys. I don't have a problem with EV's , I agree there's room for them and FCV's. That's all about horses for courses. I am a long term ITM holder and if you think about it , their technology is exactly what is needed to supply AFC's H2? No conflict or ' stealing of thunder' involved. In an ideal world though , why bother with batteries if you don't have to. They degrade so need replacing , they are heavy on component materials , they're a bugger to get rid of , and most importantly relative to H2 or diesel/petrol they take ages to refuel. That's a nightmare for anything more than a tin box which tootles to the shops and back. Not saying H2 is perfect but then again you're saying that's needed too here in vast quantities.... not sure what will prevail but it'll most likely be a bit of this and a bit of that. On the plus side those 'bits' will be huge as diesel/petrol bites the polluted dust.

As I've just posted on the AFC board doesn't the AFC solution just sound like an H2 powered car that takes longer to refuel? On the flip side , if they need to tanker H2 around to their refuelling points I can suggest a good company to provide it.....

Hmmmm. Let me see.... H2 + Ch2ARGE and you can charge an EV? Sounds a lot like a Hydrogen powered car to me. The H2 still has to be produced AND transported , the equipment still has to be installed countrywide. Then there's the question of how long it takes to charge?? If it takes any longer than refuelling with diesel then it's a logistical nightmare. Let's not even go in to the energy required to produce the H2 and where that comes from? Basically adds to the case for H2 cars with green H2 produced locally.

There are two reasons , given the benefit of hindsight , that a lot of people differ with their views. Firstly , no one expected what we've had and continue to have ie. a nightmare. Secondly the whole deal was sold on the UK being immediately better off plus we'd be able to get rid of loads of foreign spongers. Meanwhile the remainers didn't really put a case forward , they were far too complacent. Things have moved on , people can see more what is involved. They now have an understanding not a few whims.
As regards us being a nation of historical greats and the consequential feeling of national pride , just remember that we are only one of the 'us' through pure luck. We were lucky to be born here , no effort or skill involved.

Ditto Pinners. Easy to get despondent when you have such high hopes yet the SP carries on doing what it does. Ultimately though my high hopes spring from the points you have listed and they remain unchanged. Indeed general sentiment is better than ever. Speaking of 'ever' , I also 1st invested many moons ago , think I paid circa £3 a share for one batch! Not saying we will see that price again but if things really kick off a quick (realistic) fag packet calculation arrives at a far higher target. Looking a bit better so far today.... damn! I've said it now.....

This isn't another CFC. They're not a fuel cell company for starters plus ITM are very well placed and connected. Sentiment and opportunities are increasing massively. They have a fair amount of funding and turnover due plus money in the bank so the 'A' word is inappropriate. I also don't feel the board can be criticised on the rhetoric front , far from it. All things considered whilst not exactly jumping for joy I remain confident but as they say , 'if in doubt invest nowt'.
