Considerably longer than 6 months. I got the impression of 2 years.

The reduction in capital was entirely to do with fintechs being marked down by the markets and nothing to do with there loans. Hence irrelevant. As stated last December they were charging 10.5% and now they are charging 13.2%. A reasonable assumption dividends are set to rise. There are plenty of others with much worse performance, not that a 76% total return over 5years is poor. In fact it's the top of its sector.
Alas there will always be people like broomhead who will think short-term and are unable to grasp that a reliable 10% a year beats most other investments in the value sector.
Such a silly man.

Not as good as VSL.
Anyway no certainty it will be passed and I won't be voting for it. Bastard's

I have done option of 25% sale. Still disappearing up its own ****.
Bit of snide way of putting it.
I note that a lot are rising in the debt-direct lending sector.
Up 6% on vpc. Multiple purcase over the last 2 month
Riverstone credit in profit, just but only had it a week.
Possible next purchase BioPharma but need to work out how long they will take to capture interest rate rises.
VPC Floating rate loans, hence immediately.
Riverstone 2 year loans quickly.

PS one of the few in the debt sectors that will capture interest rate rises almost instantly as all there loans are floating rate.

18% discount and falling...slowly. an exit at nav would soon see the company disappear up its own ****. The company even trading at nav would still give a decent dividend.
I am happy to hold onto this just for dividend.

1st 63p dividend Equals 11.9% at the present price.
2nd 50% discount
3rd 40% gearing.
1 and 2 make it tempting. The 3rd make it worrying specially as we are going into a recession. More importantly I still don't quite know what there investing in?

I wouldn't vote windup and there is a lot of institute in here. Would they want a short sighted windup (my opinion ). They are trying to get more retail investors involved as that would raise the share price?
I need this share as the dividend is streamed interest. No tax to pay if you are not using up your £5,000 savings tax allowance.

How cheap does company have to be?
I wouldn't mind but I bought bank of Georgia at the same time it's up 100% plus.

I have said the same (except the zombie company bit) but also a takeover would be great. Alas it maybe difficult for company in this period to find the money to do so. An all share deal will not be of any use to us. Nor would a merger. This is not really the sector to be in for the next year probably two years.
Either way there recent a management contract says they are not going to do anything other than see it through this bad period for reits.
Selling out soon. Am at a 40% profit not that it would make any difference always happy to sell at loss if there's better investment out there.

All its business ( Belarus included) the rules are set by the sovereign Bank of Georgia. So uk deregulation will have nill effect on it. None whatsoever.
