I can't see any reason why anyone would want to change the strategy. Particularly the retail investors?

I was up 115% last week. Up 107% today nothing spectacular.

From rns today "The average interest rate on the portfolio is 13.3%, up from 10.5% in December 2021."
On the above basis I am in no hurry to vote for a change in strategy!
As an aside I read somewhere they needed 10% to call a meeting?

Spread surprisingly small 86 cents to 87 cents
Trailing Dividend 7cents so 8%. Hargreaves Lansdown have it down as 6%
Huge increase in the third quarter dividend. 8.5cents against 1.8. Assuming Hargreaves Lansdown has got it right.
20% discount.
I am hoping it pays its dividend as steamed income as its covered by £5,000 starter savings tax allowance.
Will buy if so.

Alas if only they ALL got it right occasionally. But not only do they get it wrong but they don't even agree on the numbers.
Legal and general have beta of 1.5 so a good run up on the 100 may get them a fair bit towards that. Throw in some higher than expected profits, then a possible. I have only got the ones I bought a 166p left. A 100% on on a huge insurance company, now that would be something to brag about!!

A quick check shows all the next dividend is streamed as interest.

I see it is private equity but is that it? I have been to there company site but can't quite grasp where the dividend is coming from? Are they lending to them?
AIC says there down as streaming at least some of there dividends as interest.
I am looking for dividends which are classed as interest so I can fit them in the £5,000 starter savings tax allowance.
Help there site is ****e when explaining there investment strategy.

You can read there financial on Hargreaves Lansdown for instance.

PS Yorkshire Building Society are giving me 5% on a regular saver account (£500 a month) but I have had reduce the amount as first direct has just given me a 7% regular saver account (£300 a month)
They are getting very generous.

International personal finance. A fintech consumer lender eastern European and Mexico. Doing particularly well at the moment.
Ceased paying dividends for 18months during covid but continued to pay bonds.
Debt comes before dividends. Some countries applied rules such as the UK no defaulting loans etc.
Present bonds on a 7.25% they can replace them with 12% ones as they finish at the same time as the new ones start. Interest rates have risen so they will be able to charge there borrowers more.
I doubt I will get much.
Just had an email from AIC listing investment trusts that pay some or all there dividends as interest. Aiming to increase the dividends from interest to take advantage of the £5,000 starter savings tax allowance.
I doubt the 12% bond will make up 5% of my total portfolio.
As an aside I suspect my bank of Georgia bought in April are on 12% dividend and up 103% to date. Nice to get both capital gain and income in an isa

Probably explains the 4.35% jump.

I will personally time it so I can buy back the shares exdivided in my ISA.
Legal and general 21/04 last year. They should let you know what the exact date is in advance.
As I can also use the £5,000 starter savings tax allowance. I will be selling and trying to find something that is covered by that. VSL streams it's dividend as interest. 9.5% at the moment unlike most (if not all) of the investment trust in the debt sectors it actually has share price growth over 5 years (12%).
I am also chasing some 12% ,bonds again covered by the £5,000 starter savings tax allowance.

I intend on selling the ones I still have in my general account before the end of this financial year. The aim is to buy them back in my isa 30 plus days later. So as not to create a capital gains tax in the next financial year. Bought at 166. The plan is to buy them back on exdivided day. Hopefully at a lower price. On the otherhand they do tend to drift a bit after the dividend. See what the market is like then.
