Note the provision of debt financing.
Good spread of assets

51% of dividends will be paid as streamed interest.
So there are loans in the mix otherwise they would not be able to pay some of the dividends as interest.

Share price Moving in the right direction even if the NAV isn't.

The 5% discount was not as bad as the previous discount but were you able to buy at the discount? or did it all go to the institution?

Not trying to be negative here folks BUT you need to check the normal discounts on private equity investment trusts.
You will lucky to see NB ever get near par. Long term discount is around 20% (unreasonable so in my opinion)
3i is around par now but can Trade between 20% premium all the way upto 45%.
HG capital is on 17% discount regularly goes to premium.
NBPE is not that great a bargain.
I intend on buying some tomorrow.
Nice dividend:- a way to get an income without having to sell shares when the shares are on a low. Usefull when you buy such a volatile assets.
Unreasonable undervalued in the past. In the end I suspect the market will rerate.
My main private equity will remain 3i and hg capital but will add a bit of NB for beer money.

I think spending a year looking at replacements is succession planning.

Have been watching a share of a fintech in what I consider a very similar area. Namely International personal finance. A big recovery in share price over the last month without any news.
Good chance of a recovery in NAV moving forward. Mind as we are looking at long old wind up (an assumption based on past wind ups) then there was always a good chance of it happening.
Next nav announcement should hopefully show an improvement.

Legal and general IS undervalued at 300p.
It is down 8% over 5 years. Yet profit rise every year (ignoring covid year). There will come a point when it will jump above 300p AND stay there.

Still no share price rise. Trading roughly below the price at which the wind up was announced. Although the there's been no vote yet.

Up 5% Friday price monitoring auction. May fall back.

Based on today share price rise on slight premium. I will sell half when they are on 30% premium!

I was in at 166.06 no intentions to buy more. Nothing to do with not wanting to "average up'. Just think of reinvesting into something with better growth prospects. Been buying 3i since June up around 25%. I will continue to invest the equivalent of 11% dividend into other companies. Thank you COVID. Not serious!
