The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Marginally more than half the nation voted for not the EU without understanding the ramifications. If half of the exit camp were hard and half soft, the about three quarters of the vote are not with Jacob Rees-Mogg et al. In another generation we will be able to put this mess right. We should be running Europe, not running away from it imho. Anyway, when are we getting the Share price back to the 80’s
Daily trading volumes averaging < 0.1% of issued stock and share price dibbling along close to the institutional fund raise. I’m content to assume the other 99.9% are in the hands of peeps who know what they’re doing. Sure you can make a few quid with the gentle undulations we are seeing, but I really can’t be bothered.
The wife’s views always matter however big your porphyry is. Maybe he’s having secret t/o discussions with other corporates well away from prying eyes hence the need for a caretaker at DGR but not Solg. Who knows.
Whilst a devout believer in nick the messiah, I am pretty peeved over the company’s relaxed approach to updating the Resource estimate. Otherwise, the share price will float around 23-25p as it does. That said, I don’t really really care about the sp short term as I’m not selling. Big investors have serious positions and the sp will head north when corporate moves are afoot. Until then, well, watched pots never boil.
@bnc. A very good evening to you :) One tries. I was on the cusp of quoting Kipling earlier, the bit about not giving way to doubters, but making allowance for their doubting too. confess, I’ve nearly used up this months allowance just today. There’s a PhD to be had evaluating what’s going on here at the moment.
Think we are dibbling along at 25+\- until major news or corporate action. So, aside from the odd interview clip, we might as well focus on higher things. My rhubarb is doing awfully well now. It had me thinking it had died off completely over winter but it's come back strongly this year. Same is true of some hydrangea cuttings. Thought they were gonners after that late snow. Knocked all my hopes and expectations off course. Still, all transformed in a few weeks. Need infinite patience to be a gardener!
