Just read an interesting article that states Exxon are going to try and sue EU governments against the imposed windfall tax... Could be an interesting development for enquest and others
With the webcast on the 12th, one could reasonably assume that the contents of which will have already been drafted/prepared and there will be a number of people aware of the contents ... On that basis, if there is a "leaky ship" I expect movement prior to the 12th one way or the other based on what will be divulged on the day. Going to be 7 sleepless nights lol.
I believe sites covered by Untie have accepted their offer, whilst I believe sites covered by GMB however have said no.
That clip of the nodding donkey and the save the planet type stop methane warrior along wae his super duper methane snooper device has me rolling about laughing. So much so that I momentarily lost control of my sphincter muscle and emitted quite a harmful to the planet amount of my own methane. Maybe he should stop now before any more damage is done. Lol
Believe the offer is 8%, if rejected then overtime ban to commence 29th. Don't know if that will be the whole company or is more regional/site specific. Imagine some sites will suffer more than others should it come to this, along with some customers possibly struggling for supply?
As the saying goes Bouncy. "let common sense prevail".
10 out of 10 BD Cat for your earlier sage like lack of surprise in today's closing price...curious to what your predictions are for tomorrow's price movements, and if you can call it right once again.
Hello all, what's folks thoughts on likely effect a 0.75% rise might have on short term sp? Cheers
Info not quite accurate. Lockerbie site also involved as far as I am aware, so Livingston not the only Scottish site affected. Date is 21st November. One day would not affect their customer base too much as they hold quite a large stock of finished goods and will no doubt have production/deliveries planned in accordingly. However any prolonged industrial action could have a knock on effect at their customers, many of whom are in the food and drinks industry.
Bang on ondb. Lunatics have taken over the effing asylum.
Brian Cox...enough to make you bowk. Amazing how aw the audience are taken in on theikes of question time by folk that have zero expertise in a subject. Just have to look at labour party conference for another example... You've now got ex footballer and multi multi millionaire Gary Neville banging the drum. No quite as bad as Eddie or is that Edwina izzard mind.
Read just the other day how much the windmill companies are being paid to switch them off at times when it's too windy as the grid can't handle the power they generate. Millions upon millions. Think sturgeon and Co think they can just stick up another windfarm on every piece of available land and all will be well.
We kinda had something similar recently with the Brexit "there will be no petrol tanker drivers" and the shops will run out of food ... Again championed by the BBC, strangely enough after the more gullable amongst us stopped acting irrationally by panic buying there was in the main no shortage of food, nor petrol. A one day strike by oil companies would cause panic.
Bang on Kraken, question time used to be a good watch. Now it's nothing more than a vomit inducing platform for the left, championed by the BBC. Folk like Brian Cox, enough to make you spew when they start they're theatrical table banging. At least we were spared having to listen too his Indy crap.
Interestingly able to offload part of my holding wae a 10k dummy sell, but on a dummy buy of the same amount was given the electronic no no. Lol
"Bring on the Jam" KB.
There is hope in dreams, imagination, and in the courage of those who wish to make those dreams a reality.
Bang on ondb... Couldn't have put it better. Makes me laugh when you see the likes of some Liverpool fans singing F the tories whilst paying £50 or more a ticket to watch someone kick a ball on a field for 90mins and earn 200k per week and more.
At last...facts without all the negative spin and BS that both the opposition and vomit enducing main stream media prefer to feed the population. Well presented Onedb
