100% yes they would, therefore surely buying must be a positive. Even if it's only a few K worth

I fully agree, if phe can somehow get such organisations to help champion their business then that could only be a positive.

Ok, so the kiln might not be 100% green, but stopping landfill, getting rid of waste and creating energy has got to be a whole lot better than sending all that waste abroad or simply incinerating everything.

Cheers castle and Bingley for the posts, quite an eye opener regarding the actual lack of "proper" recycling, even though most households are doing their bit!

I've heard others mention that although their household waste gets collected in separate bins for plastic & metal, card and general waste, it then gets dumped together at the waste plant.

Seems a bizarre thing to be doing if true.

I get that Glennhoss. Been a long time since I was at school so the laws of thermodynamics are very rusty at best lol.

But on that subject, would it not be possible that your alarm bells are answered by the following.

Feedstock - gas on start up - kiln reaches temp - then a proportion of the syngas is used to maintain the process.

This would be achieved by the energy that is held in the feedstock and freed during the process.

I'm not sure if I've explained my thoughts in a way that makes sense / is plausible. I know what I'm meaning haha.

In a nutshell, more goes in which cancels the amount used for self sustanance, leaving a balance that would conform with that law?

Seems like regardless of the arguments, bickering, name calling and actual proper discussion where some reasoning can be found, there seems to be a gereral agreement that getting rid of waste plastic is first and foremost what phe should be concentrating on. The results of testing will no doubt decide thereafter what road to go down in regards to most valuable offtake / by-product.

It seems very obvious that there is a common train of thought that phe should be already looking at where they could get a foothold in supplying their tech be it at local council waste plants or the private sector.

As much as I try, I'd be stunned if they are already not speaking with others on that very subject. Like all industries/businesses, these guys all attend the same conferences, workshops, forums etc. Don't forsee any news soon, but as soon as test centre is open I expect a steady stream of potential customers and interested parties eager to "kick the tyres"

It's quiet at the moment, but I see this as the calm before the storm and a more favourable sp. Sorry can't see that 12p yet castle, but who knows what the longer term future might hold. Still expecting around 2p on testing.

In a strange way I see that as good news. Been a lot of "noise" about the hydrogen market and the thoughts that anyone using phe tech where they might be looking at hydrogen as an offtake would not be able to compete with the big boys.

So less big boys progressing with Hydrogen plans must mean more room for the little boys.

Regardless, for me phe is all about getting rid of waste plastic and it's redirection from landfill. Shell et al concentrating on other things is what it is.

Going forward going to be interesting to see what kinda revenues eng can generate from work that's not connected to phe kiln project to help supplement incoming cash flow.

With us being told the purchase of Engsolve has already paid for itself some time ago, it suggests that it's been a shrewd move and could well end up being very lucrative.

As with others comments elsewhere, I also wonder how the relationship between phe and eng works when it comes to the test centre. Guessing that it's whatever is most cost effective lol.

Yup I did see that last bit of info. Unfortunately since then dropping in on the chat forum has been like reading the script to the chuckle brothers lol.

I've no idea where the sp might hit as results of testing and news on process validation drops, I'd be over the moon with your hoped for 3p though.

I'm thinking more along the lines of 2p or thereabouts, suppose it depends on what news develops then in regards to future plan / orders etc.
