What am I missing? An excellent update and a very muted market response. Can anyone elucidate?

Has been a challenging few weeks. Well done to Matt and all holders. Should be the catalyst for re-rating.

Yeah ...interesting session...there was a period of a few hours with super tight spread 8.72 to 8.73 (bid -ask).......could not resist to top up.

The general elections knocked off a lot of steam. However, there are so many positives with JAY. Going through some churn and a quiet period. Time to accumulate more shares and huddle down.

A "worked" buy order of 5mn shares by MM?

Appears to be high grade for an open pit op (I am assuming it is open pit - if anyone would like to correct me)
So far today 4 x 1mn buys

Strange points -
- SP has not increased despite the 4 x 1mn buys
- muted PI reaction (coud it be lack of media attention e.g. sharetalk / Alan Green podcast?)

Decided to tip my toes further. It's already wet - looks value.

Some PI is defo taking a serious investment into LEX - another 1mn shares to add to the 1mn bought in the morning. This PI appears to know what he is doing and putting his money behind it.

Also,
Haile is an open pit operation.
I assume Loflin is also.
If so, then the grades found are top notch

@MMUK - looks like there is a seller - based on the trades today - you can see blocks of 100k / 200k being sold - that's making the SP to fall. Will it continue? Who knows. Have to wait and see.
Does SP fall reflect fundamentals? IMO - not.

The honest answer is no one knows.
1stly I do not think that the compensation particularly affects things.
Moving onto dilution -
Does it affect the share price?
It all depends on what the 22p holders do.
If they start selling like mad. Then of course yes.
But is that likely? No. Why? Because nearly all investors know that ANIC has huge growth potential.
Therefore, I am inclined to believe that 22p holders will hold for the time being, in which case, SP will not be negatively impacted.
STX for e.g. - when the SP was around 52p had a placement at 30p. See how fast the SP moved there.
Compare that with PXC - there has been some indigestion at the 35p placement price but then after a short time - it moved up.
Similarly, with LDG, some investors were concerned that this would fall back to 5p after the initial placement / restatement - but as soon as trading started - the SP shot up and kept going up in the first month or so of its listing.
IMO - and I could be wrongfooted - I invested at 25p AFTER the 22p placement occurred - watching how the new investors pile in post placement - I think it's highly unlikely that the SP will fall. GL

Today's rise augers well for further rises next week prior to the release of results nearing to end of month / start of next month.

I dont understand why MODE is down just coz BTC is down - surely - in all markets - some people sell off, some buy in = $$$ to MODE given that they take commission buy and sell.
