To support current valuations, my back of the fag packet calns - assuming a PE (f) is 40 - which I think is acceptable for a bang-on trend clinical research organisation like Orph with their moat + bargaining position.
And
Further, assuming they have quite a bit of accumulated tax losses from the past (all funded thanks to Woodford), then PBT = PAT.
If so,
Then:
£6mn projected profit will equate to a MV of £240mn
Excluding all additional bonus freebies and DIM.

So is PE (f) of 40 reasonable? Peer comparison -figures extracted from Stockopedia :
Ergomed - PE (f) - 38.7
Ixico - PE (f) = 46.6

If projected PAT is £10mn , MV is £400mn etc

I am sure other PIs here are more aware of the contracts than me and will know Orph's order book, for 2021-22 will they do more or less PAT £10mn. Finger in the air job - IMO, it's likely more, given CF keeps increasing prices (shows Orph have very strong market dominant position)

On top of that we got DIM + other freebies.

That's why CF is so excited and that's why I added today.

MODE is valued at circa £45mn at present. This is chump change to any VC backed fintech / bank.

If there is any traction with their open banking platform, given the hard work has been already done by Mode, I reckon they will be taken over at minimum 3x or 4x

Under the placement price of 75p - must be a bargain!

A quality outfit like La Mancha must have done their DD before buying 35%+ of ALS as well as buying a further tranche at 75p.

ALS have some high very high quality assets.

I must say the investor sentiment towards HCM is quite something............perhaps there is an II selling out in America....

The CEO does not strike me as someone who overpromises and under delivers. Thus, for him to say this must infer that he thinks they've literally struck gold on JKL!
