Isn't Morgan stanley base case TP 60p? Bear case is 20p, i.e. not base (most probable) case. There is, I expect, a ~£1 upside price target as well for them.

Vaccine possibility would make me very nervous for shorting this stock. If that happens it will be all over, it wont be coming back down period and losses are locked in. On the other hand owning the stock can mean it rise or fall to 30 only to go on to recover in 6-12 months for a tidy profit. Brave lot the shorters, but i am looking to make profit without too much risk so bought stock instead, definitely a safer bet in my opinion!

That is interesting, and I think it looks like amc is more like 70% of pre-covid? Either way that's a significant dislocation, the only major difference is the cineplex palaver but pffft that's 13 months away and may be nothing anyway. In already btw

Does anyone understand ratings properly and what amc rating is versus cine is. Assume amc must be better and reflected in SP?

I think the issue is how to you value the company when future cash flows are uncertain right now, for valuation purposes. Not pre-covid price right? But not 50p... £1-£1.50?
