with 2 MM's moving up on the bid and 3 MM's still sat on the offer with orders timed at before 8am this morning. The 2 MMs are actively bidding with 100k each at a price of 3.02p

Understand these are orders and are therefore only an intention to trade. They're not executed trades. These orders can be removed at will and placed back onto the order book at will. I believe orders are used to sometimes massage the price though that is a matter for conjecture.

If L2 was a predictor of future price direction I'd be a millionaire. I'm not a millionaire. L2 simply paints a mood but since the MMs and DMA traders are insiders and we're outsiders it can sometimes provide insight though not always

Level 2 is the order book system. MM's and DMA traders placed their buy orders on the left hand side (Bid) and their sell orders on the right hand side (Offer). Therefore by having access to DMA (Direct Market Access. It costs around £2k a month I think) a participant can buy off the bid (you buy off the offer) and sell on the offer which is the opposite to me and you (we buy off the offer and sell on the bid)

3 v 1 in essence means we have 3 buy orders (either Market Makers or DMA traders) but only one sell order. 3 buy orders v 1 sell orders. That is I would say a positive

1 v 3 in essence means 1 buy order v 3 sell orders - more sell orders than buy orders

'Dead simple' but it can change like the wind and it does so you can move from 3 v 1 to 1 v 4 in seconds

L2 is only an indicator at a point in time, It does not predict the future direction of the share price

If these reports lead to DMS becoming mandatory then I'll be happy and so will SEE and its shareholders. We live in oppressive and mandatory times. It wouldn't surprise me to see DMS becoming mandated for all road going vehicles in under 3 years

How many more studies do they need ffs? Caterpillar's been using SEE DMS for years. Why more studies? They don't need more studies to show its effectiveness or importance. Just ask Caterpillar or Toll. I honestly believe bureaucracy contrives delays to generate more taxpayer funding.
