Day, I suspect some are even higher...I’m just at c300p, after a bit of what has now proved to be premature averaging down! Always a dangerous strategy...the problem is when it finally gets to c310/320ish we often forget about the current pain and think the rise will continue. The psychology of trading, far more important than technical or fundamental analysis imo! ATB, Scfc
Lets hope so Tom! It feels like the SP is low but it until it goes up it’s the market price and with Trump in charge nothing is certain. I suspect most on here have (trading pot) averages above £3 at the moment...fingers crossed! ATB, Scfc
I’m not saying I disagree with him but it is also relevant to note that one of Harris Associates funds has Glencore as it’s 3rd largest equity holding (at over 7.5% of assets at the last full quarter). I’m sure we’d all tell the market they’ve grossly undervalued Glen...and much like the guys on the Vodafone BB are saying of the decimation of its share price, now at c10 year lows. My point is don’t buy on expert analysis unless you first consider if they may have a conflict of interest. ATB, Scfc
Having reviewed many broker ratings over the years, and on a variety of shares, I have concluded they are utterly pointless as a guide to the future SP direction. They at least usually move the target down but only after a significant fall in SP and hence much too late to be of any value or use as an investment strategy. ATB, Scfc
Trump genuinely thinks he’s right and can simply blame others no matter what happens. If the DOW falls he blames the FED for not lowering rates (even though the world knows it’s actually his stance of the trade war); it goes up and its his policies are working....blah blah. Very dangerous and you wonder what it’s like trying to advise and/or control him. Impossible! ATB, Scfc
