Market doesn’t like them production reports too much, initially at least, presumably the cobalt stockpiling biggest negative (although the copper price falling won’t have helped). Interesting to see where it ends today after a very good week. ATB, Scfc
Hi Ken, I’m perhaps one of those people you’re referring to who rarely post my trades but my advice wasn’t aimed at anyone specifically. That’s a personal choice and I don’t mind either way, the key is everyone’s input is welcome. It was hardly rocket science what I said tbf but it is a proven fact that PIs will only profit long term with a strategy and clear risk management. Anyone kicking themselves or pleased that they timed it right “getting out” will at some point get burned (without a strategy imho). That said I like your posts and wish you well as I do everyone else on this BB which is friendly and fortunately doesn’t seem to attract the trolls which other boards sadly do! ATB, Scfc
Hi Ken, I don’t look it like that...imho the way to win/profit long-term is to have a (proven) strategy and stick to it. A target is reached and sell OR don’t hold too long when you hit a stop loss. This will mean plenty of I wish I hadn’t sold so soon or phew, lucky I sold there before that big drop. Easier said than done even for those who have been trading a long term but I hold and hope strategy will eventually cause you to have a massive loss! ATB, Scfc
Maybe but it will be a hard slog I fear...it is heavily traded so if you are “tied in” you can feel like real progress is being made only for the rug to be ripped from under you in a couple of trading days! It was over £3 only a couple of trading days ago demonstrates the point and now back in the mid 280s. ATB, Scfc
Rational behaviour of MMs and traders, if only! It was 287.4p albeit briefly this morning and I really don’t know where it goes next. My view is probably into the 290s but I say that with not too much conviction at the mo. ATB, Scfc
Ken, you maybe right but it’s a dangerous assumption with Glen simply looking at the level on earlyv8/1 as “support”. It is one of the most volatile (and traded) shares in FTSE 100 and 285p or 295p would be no surprise in the next day or so alone. Good luck. ATB, Scfc
I’ve never seen the sell depth outweighed by buy depth as much on L2 - at 3.15ish it was 6 (buy depth) to 106 (sell depth)...hence the price collapse. Can change quickly but WOW! I’ve never seen the buy depth in single figures! ATB, Scfc
