Bruce, thanks for your reply but I’m afraid it was just me having a little bit of fun with LTI rather than a genuine question. We had a debate a few months ago where he was calling said description a “script dividend” when I pulled him up explaining it was actually called a scrip dividend. He was as usual claiming it was a typo (but which he made on numerous occasions...errrrmmmm). Have a good day. ATB, Scfc
Please don’t be silly enough to get into another argument with me as you always come off looking silly! I assume you’ve put money on leaving by the 29th? I do have another question for you though...
“an issue of additional shares to shareholders in proportion to the shares already held” - do you know what this term means/is? ;-) Scfc
“It's the only runner at the moment”. You really do need educating, LTI, on what the term “runner” actually means! That’s even sillier than some of your earlier posts. You probably still think we’ll be leaving on 29th March...lost count of the number of posts you’ve said that with your countdown clock. ATB, Scfc
I will avoid logic as it’s lost on you but as Crowcast points out there are (and always have been) 3 possibilities, you’ve highlighted only 2...this is not a wish to remain just that it is also a possibility. The percentage for each changes all the time but all remain possible. I think leaving with a deal the most likely and leaving with no deal the least likely. Scfc
At last! So are you now finally agreeing that we may not actually leave on 29/3? I’ve never said whether we will leave or not, just it won’t happen on 29/3 for reasons I very clearly explained.....and after all those posts of your countdown clock to 29/3. Lol ;-)
PS. Did you not say in an earlier post that the vote to extend A50 on Thursday was no more relevant to your opinion but now it’s result will be seemingly put to the 27 EU states to agree with (or not)? Nice U-turn! It’s fun tying you in knots (again), let’s resume this on 29/3??? ATB, Scfc
“Any vote that takes place tomorrow and Wednesday are not relevant to the eventual outcome”. Unbelievable!
Do you seriously think Parliament will vote to ask for an extension but we’ll just ignore it as it’s not relevant to next steps? Or will we ask and the EU say no and not get a chance of getting its 39bn? You really are so blinkered in your thinking. Follow through an argument as to how we will leave when today’s vote is lost, one matter we at least do agree on! Each to their own...Scfc
For goodness sake I give up LTI. I asked 2 questions, simply say “agreed” or “not agreed”! Maybe we just leave it here and on 29/3 when we haven’t left you might actually agree with my analysis of what will v likely happen, not what should happen. I tried to get a sensible discussion...but I can only assume you think that the EU will not agree to an extension. Why not just say that if that’s what you think???
LTI, you really don’t get it. Parliament will not approve a no deal Brexit and then the EU will allow us a delay. Which of those 2 statements do you not agree with? If you agree with both, then we will simply not leave on 29/3. Rather than evading the question, explain how you think we will leave? Are you saying the vote on Thursday doesn’t matter and we will just leave in 29/3...if you think that you are delusional. I’m not arguing what is right just what will happen next and why. Scfc
I’m personally not sure there will be a 2nd referendum but this will inevitably drag on and on...no idea where it will end but there is next to no chance that Parliament will approve the U.K. leaving with no deal on 29/3...Labour, SNP, moderate Tories, etc will vote against leaving without a deal so the Parliamentary numbers speak for themselves. ATB, Scfc
LTI, you seemingly don’t understand the current agreed process. Yes, I agree May’s deal will get rejected today but tomorrow no deal will then be rejected and finally on Thursday an extension will be approved by Parliament. The EU need to agree to this and I’m fully expecting then to do so. The can will simply get kicked down the road for a few more weeks/months. Whether you are a Remainer or Brexiteer this has been a shambles from start to finish. ATB, Scfc
