Ade1234, do you truly understand what you’ve bought into? It’s a new tech and AFC are doing ok. These things take time and patience, which you should try to remember.
Watch the podcast with MACE during which the bloke describes how things have been extremely busy or hectic (or whatever term he actually used) with AFC since their first approach. Yes, it has been a long time to wait for lth’s, but actually in the grand scheme of things from nothing to a finished product its not so bad. This share could be amazing or it could tank if AB doesn’t deliver; we already know this and accept the risk. I don’t need to be reminded every day by those who want to see quick returns and jump to the next ‘big thing’ after one order. The company has grown in a competent and professional manner unlike others I could mention; so sit back, relax and stop watching the SP every day. If good news comes…….happy days. If it’s bad news……….the price will drop so fast you’ll be drowning and unable to sell quickly enough.
If you don’t like this undeniable fact then you should sell.

You could pay for Level 2 data which shows the current open order book. Useful for the Mrs (she trades) but I am long on almost everything and it’s not of any particular interest. Another string to your bow but not essential.

Mainmane, generally but not always, that number shares would be accrued during the day. Buying large numbers would cause spikes in the price but an orderly market has to be kept, so trades of that nature are reported late to prevent it from happening.

Could be even more interesting if AFC can generate hydrogen on site in sufficient quantities to power everything, thereby removing or reducing the need for its transportation in the first place.

Robertz, it was announced officially via RNS/Reach 16th August, but clearly they’d already informed the organisers by then. Just out of interest, who was charging the cars?

n888, AFC isn’t a one trick pony hydrogen stock so I’m not too concerned. Hopefully by then if we take a hit it’ll be from a higher SP anyway.

DW, completely agree. Tesla too; making more money from selling green credits for dirty companies than they do from selling cars. The UK government’s hydrogen strategy may also be delayed in light of blue hydrogen not being the saviour they hoped for. Never mind; according to Bezos we’ll soon be able to dump stuff on the moon!
Whether AFC’s primary driver at the outset was to make money, improve the climate or a combination of the two, they’re doing ok in my book.

duke, no probs. No-one would mind some massive news. I’ll be watching to see if they send a few extra staff as that might be useful field experience, especially if the E1 gig comes our way.

Is AB off to Greenland? Sending engineers is understandable and expected but I don’t recall seeing anything about him going.

Can’t say that I’m bothered by the rules surrounding closed periods. He bought a relatively small number of shares and I’d be very surprised if internal company news wasn’t shared between the bosses. It’s an exciting time for AFC and order news is probably the topic of every conversation they have in the tea room. We all want the same thing but I’d like to see some orders soonish as it leaves room for other order announcements later in Q4. An order for ten would be great before October; but an order for ten by year end would be a tad disappointing after AB’s fanfare order book announcement.
We have Hiiroc potential, ammonia use, the possibility of exponential growth, the negative blue hydrogen news last week (won’t affect us), Mace, Acciona, Ricardo, ABB, ExE with the possibility of E1 too!
I’d rather be here than any other hydrogen sector share at the moment. Criticism is absolutely fine, but let’s try to get along. Changing the odd word in a message can alter its tone dramatically and make for a better board.

billbstrd, you’re absolutely correct. There are rises and falls, but not continuing rises with no prospect of a drop. The best we can hope for is a rise over the next twenty years followed by levelling off. We’ll see unprecedented floods, fires, drought and that’s just the beginning. Governments are slow to act for many economic reasons but someone needs to get a grip. Four years ago I decided not to fly, cycle everywhere I could and upcycle as much as possible. The family were reluctant to begin with because we’re an active bunch and travelled to some amazing places, but some things are more important than taking a few pictures so planes are out of the question. Population growth is relevant but I can’t tackle that one.
Everyone can do better and if it causes some short term pain, so be it. In summation; Greta T can make as much noise and be as big a pain in the 4rse of governments as she possibly can, because they need to act. Rant over.

If anyone is in any doubt about the state of our only habitable planet, read the IPCC report to see just how badly we’ve managed to fluck it up. I see governments moving at a snails pace considering that the changes required are pretty urgent and in many cases are comply irreversible. AFC, ITM, EQT and others need to be taken seriously and receive some investment from those that can actually change things.

Tempted to buy more, which was always the plan, but this could still drop further so I’ll wait. A believer but not in TY. A delay, a FOAK and the master of disaster at the helm tells me there’s too much uncertainty atm.
